Or is that limited to just a few? I never understood that stupid toilet seat up complaint. It only takes a second to lower it. Why bitch about something like that? Did you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night with the lights off, and fall in?

(Hey, be happy you're not in MY house where you have to keep the LID down...it's an esthetic thing ~grin~)

Heck, I put the seat up when I'm done if that's the way I found it and it's not my house. It's not that big a deal to me...now leaving cabinet doors open is a whole 'nother thing...

We had to keep the lids down at home when we were kids. Mom would bathe her dog and he would whip upstairs to the bathroom, jump on the toilet seat and wait to be blow dried. Until one day the lid was up! Poor pup had to be bathed all over and he was never quite sure if he should jump on the toilet seat again.

hehehe, I'm obsessive about cabinet and closet doors, too. But the screwy thing is that my cabinets and closets are the only part of my house I ever really keep neat and organized (heaven help it if the dishes, pots, or glassware isn't put away exactly like it was originially...and don't ever stick a mismatched glass in my neat, straight rows ...I won't even mention the linen closet "rules" )

I want mine down because I heard a news item once that said some of the water in the toilet "sprays up" in mists when you flush, and to keep your toothbrushes in a closet... EWWW

The toilet seat has never been an issue. Falling in in the middle of the night has now that is a cold eye opener.

For many men they feel it's Bourgeois to leave the seat up....Why you may ask?
If they are involved with a woman from a European country, most women from that area are accustom to using a bidet. They simply are attempting to give the gal a quasi feeling of her homeland.

Sunbabe!!! I think we are sisters.
There is a certain place for eveything in my kitchen! Always have the cupboard doors shut, and um, sometimes I like all the can goods facing out so I can see what is on the label.
Now, about that toilet seat. As the only girl, with 3 older brothers, I know what it is like to have a wet bottom!
Also, as a mother, the lid should be down too.
Oh and don't forget there is only one way the toilet paper goes on,,,in my house anyway.
