I dress for me. It has to make me feel sexy or comfortable. I will consider my man's taste tho. And I UNdress for him.  Slowly....

I dress to please me...and if you saw how many clothes I own, you'd see that I please myself a LOT!
(I'm one of those that looks much better IN clothes that out of them -- that's my justification, lol.  )
Once upon a time I had a sweety who loved to go shopping with me, though. I kind of wound up with several very "over the top" sexy outfits that I'd have never worn if I hadn't been on his arm.  His ear to ear grin gave me the confidence to "strut my stuff". Damn, that was fun!

I dress for comfort. Running after 7 yr olds is hard work! You need comfortable clothes for that. But I do have one or 2 low cut tops I could wear if I ever get another date.

I believe we ( both men and women alike ) dress to express our personaities. If it pleases the opposite gender , it's a bonus - it means that our personality is attractive/sexy. But I doubt if anyone would be wearing somehing he/she doesn't enjoy wearing , just for sake of "pleasing " someone. It's possible to pretend once or twice, but how long can one keep pretending?

Maybe in younger years we dressed to attract the opposites.......but I think in older years its about dressing to please yourself.....and if the other person doesnt like the way you dress....then too bad!......LOL. Whatever I wear.....I like to be neat and tidy.
Tho there were a couple of times when I felt *over dressed*......about 4 mths ago now...met a guy from another state....who was holidaying in SOUTH OZ and wanted to meet me. I was going out to tea with friends later on......so intended to meet him first.....then go on from there.....so I was dressed up. He turned up in jeans and widcheater......reaaaaaaly casual. I think both of us felt uncomfortable.....me because i felt overdressed and him cuz he felt underdressed........LOL
