I was rather surprised today when I checked the "Viewed Me" link and noticed that a lot of men have been recently checking my profile. I am wondering if this is something that I should be worried about. I once had an ad at another site that the owners mistakenly placed in the homosexual category (even though I specified in the ad that I was searching for women!) I contacted the owners about it, but still got some strange messages and soon canceled that ad. Is there some way to find out whether this has happened again or is there another explanation?

the one thing you don't have to do is answer a wink or email. so, no one knows how to contact you except thru here...also they just might be looking but, don't contact when they see your profile doesn't mention key words to encourage them to reply to your profile....don't worry, be happy.

I think it may relate to the forums...about ten percent of the people who've viewed me are fellow females, and I've never been approached by any of them  . I think it's just a natural curiosity to look at the profiles of people whose posts you've read (I do it too!)...something like reading the author's bio on the dustjacket cover!

We are so relieved to know you aren't hitting on the guys here. The girls would be very upset, if they learned they had no chance w/ you. 
Same as Heaven. When I read forum posts, I often want to know who I'm posting w/. I do it all of the time. Gives me a better idea of who the person is.
Then again, you are a cutie. Maybe the guys think you are a hottie.

I viewed MoMo's this morning, because I thought he said he had brown eyes in a post here. I could have sworn they were another color. I was right.

Ok...The reason I view the womens profiles is I like to see the competition ..NOT..I view them simply because I like to learn all I can about the person or persons I`m chatting with..
I in no way feel competitive...so I don`t consider anyone as someone I`m competing against...not even lookin` at da moment..my choice
But I can still take that flirtin` class

I agree with China - I look at the profiles of men on this forum for any number of reasons (attraction not being one of them). I woudn't get too worked up about it. OTOH, it wouldn't hurt to post a less metro-sexual photo too... just sayin'...

If I am talking to someone specific on the Instant Messenger, and I lose the connection, whilst trying to reconnect, I tend to browse other profiles. I have also checked out the competition. It doesn't matter who views you. If they message you, though, and they aren't what you want, just ignore them!
