Yeah, unfortunately it does happen. I met a guy, and we had a discussion about marital status, because I had had this happen before. He looked me straight in the eye and never admitted he was/is married. When I finally saw his ring and called him on it, thinking that he had been taking it off when he was with me, he swore up and down that he never took it off, he was just very good at keeping it hidden. Talk about smashing my faith in men! Now anyone I meet has to somehow overcome my distrust of men all over again. Sheesh...

that's why this site shouldn't be taken as a legit dating/matchmaking site. Most people only come here to blog and read and post in the forums. You shouldn't get your hopes up.

It is too bad that we have more then just liars but players too..
But really the subject should be People who lie on there profiles because.
I can match any and all woman's story of liar with one that I have heard of or experienced before. now some of the lies may be different but they have the same affect
I no longer post my picture or say anything about me I cancelled ALL my other paid accounts because after a very longtime of give all that i could I could not longer deal with the deciet and dishonesty that i saw in so many..
In forums you tend to see a little more honesty in people I think because even if dishonest by nature they know they would be challenged if they tried to pull that BS

Actually on another site this happened to me.
I met someone, I fell in love. We lived far away so I could never
really know what was going on.
One day his wife called me. We spoke for like two seconds and
she never called me again.
He told me he was getting a divorce, blah blah blah. I fell for all
of it. I believe he loved me. He is in the Military so times
when he was suppose to come see me he could'nt because of
the Military- so he said. This last time he did not show up again.
Im pretty much betting he is still married.
I came to the internet to post on the forums and meet friends.
I did not come here to fall in love and I did. To say it stung is an
understatement.
Im not real hip on meeting anyone anymore. I think whatever is in store for
me is probably in my back yard if it is there.

once again the OP singles out a specific gender. this is a game, moreso an extension of the game! each of us has been played. me, it was a swine in a wallow wondering why she could not be accepted unconditionally we each have a few conditions. no drugs!!! you will not hit me!!! you will not sexually abuse my kids!!! there are conditions! many conditions! we be jammin

Males are not the only ones that lie. I have seen someone ( female) on here that uses a picture from a hair style site. Now either she is a hair model ( probably not) or she is lying.
Poor guy that falls for her :(
