How many here don't have trouble attracting someone, just attracting someone that they are also attracted to in return?

Raise your hands...

Sometimes I feel like the chemicals in my chemistry set just expired from having too many romantic relationships in my life.

There are lots of great opportunities. It's just so hard to feel any chemistry anymore. ANd what is the point without that feeling?

I think my ideas of romance are slightly skewed from all the books I've read. It never works out the way the books do!

And one of the problems I have is that someone I am interested in on here most likely will live to far away.

Georgia, have you told him you are interested in him?

Maybe the distance won't bother him.

Ok like right now I am talking to someone 150 miles away and we are both so busy that after 3 months we still can't find time to meet in person.

I'm not saying I disagree with you Georgia. I think long distance meeting on the Internet is generally pretty unnecessary. There are probably in the range of millions of people online that live close to just about anyone, so why go all over the world just to get together. And how are you ever going to date someone and get to know them from so far apart... just meet someone closer.

Of course this doesn't work for those who believe you only have "one perfect match on the planet."

I am not one of those.

On the other hand... where there is a will, there is a way. If the attraction is strong enough, distance and time available shouldn't be an issue. If I am really REALLY attracted to someone I meet online, I just go for it ... I MAKE the time. Like anything esle that takes up your time, it's a matter of setting priorities.

Bill is really sweet and we talk on the phone a lot but can you know if you have that special chemistry unless you meet in person?
