By all the BS profiles on here, and all the BS mail I get. They all seem to work for there father, selling antiques, accounting, and trading over seas. Or they say there parents were killed when they were young, and how much they get hurt by ex boyfriends

When you get a b/s email...click block and yer done with that one. It's the law of averages. If they send a dozen scams a night and get a response, they've succeeded.

Personally, as a paying member for the past five years, I think matchdoctor should do a better job at weeding them out. For those who are all talk, you will stay single for the reast of your life, if you keep dating the idea of someone on the computer. Basicly, if your not serious, keep to yourself

I find Matchdoctor (and other assorted online sites) to be a bit like the mall. If you're a shopkeeper hoping to make some money, you might prefer those that enter your store be serious shoppers, intent on making a purchase of the goods you are selling.
However, some people like to 'window shop.' Others like to pretend they can afford the goods, no matter how empty their wallet might be, and still others are bored and drop by, well...because they can.
Most people don't walk into your store with a sign around their neck, boldly advertising their intentions. So you watch, and wait...when you identify someone as just a browser, there's probably no need to spend additional time and energy 'courting' them, so divert your attention elsewhere.
(of course, be mindful of them, just in case they want your goods but don't want to pay for them!)

Oh yeah, I pay money to be able to play with people on line. Strange, but I don't see many paying member screwing around on here. Maybe you should question your own motives for being on here. Or is this My space now

I was a paying member until yesterday. Got me the same results either way. Not really interested in throwing more money down the rabbit hole with nothing to show for it. And the guy I met has never even been on here. I met him through an online role playing game, so whatever floats your boat works for you. That, and having friends here, works for me. If it doesn't work for you, then maybe 5 years is long enough to figure out this isn't the way to meet your special lady? jmho

I only got e-mails from the fake ones, but I got really good ad figuring out that they all were fake. If they e-mailed me, they were scammers of some kind. Simple.

Listening close will tell you which profiles are created for a purpose other than matching. And if you're in doubt, ask someone who you recognize as a long time member. They usually know who's who. And who's not anyone.
