When is it alright for a person in a relationship to do (anything- you name it) but it's not alright for the other half to do the same..any thoughts on that one?

Yeah, that's how I feel too. But apparently not all of us think the same.

You've got to give a little, take a little
And let your poor heart break a little
That's the story of,
That's the glory of love
You've got to laugh a little, cry a little
Until the clouds roll by a little
That's the story of,
That's the glory of love
As long as there's the two of us
We've got the world and all its charms
And when the world is through with us
We've got each other's arms
You've got to win a little, lose a little
Yes, and always have the blues a little
That's the story of,
That's the glory of love
That's the story of,
That's the glory of love

That's probably what causes the ending of some relationships. One feels it's ok for them to do whatever but their partner should not do it.

never say never. when it is affairs of the heart, NEVER! but there are a few things that one partner likes and the other partner does not like. i was married to a couch potato and to me socializing occured after a physical activity. to her socializing occured before the physical activity and watching followed. LOL but then again the majority of people tend to be spectators. if you were to be a bit more specific as to what standard is being abused i could give a better opinion. we be jammin

Nothing specific..anything that comes to mind. Maybe it's ok for one to go out every weekend but not so for the other... just an example.

It's OK only if the man is the one who can do anything. Women should stay in bed or in the kitchen, generally keep their mouth shut and do what they're told.

It's not too hard to understand, is it?
