You are absolutely right! My wife is allerigic to many rings that I have gotten her in the past. However, she is not allergic to the platinum engagement ring. Her skin is very sensitive to any other metal but platinum. I did some research and turns out that platinum is in fact a unique hypo-allergenic metal like no other. This is in part due to the fact that the metal is one of the purest metals around (90-95% pure).

Congratulations!! For Me definitely platinum ..but this is such a subjective matter.. you should be researching HER preferences not the jeweler's opinion on the metals.. but it is true this is one of the rarest metals that wears better than most and always looks beautiful classy and not gaudy

I got the most beautiful ring from my Mac..   and yes it is white gold with Diamonds and I love it.. but the meaning behind it means much more to me ...
