How do you get your BF to wake up and make you breakfast and coffee, be so sweet to you? she asked... HOW DO YOU MAKE HIM DO THAT?
I told her you don't........ you find one who is already like that :)
* was I wrong in telling her that?
ps.. I feel I was dead on right with what I told her and many people should think about that and stop trying to change someone. If you meet someone who doesn't love and cherish you, treat you well... say adios and stop trying to make them or fix them !

yeah thats true.
I have been feeling a little funny about what I told her, not that is was untrue ...
but how
it just kinda blurted out.
I guess after I said it were both kinda looked over to her BF... and I'm thinking I should keep my secrets to myself from now on.
He could be crazy you know........ lol

you were exactly right in what you told her.. my ex fixed breakfast in bed for me every now and then.. and I loved it.. he didn't do it every week, but I guess that made it more special for me. it was always a surprise.

I think you take people for what they are.
If that isn't part of their nature, it shouldn't be expected. If her guy doesn't do it, he may never. And, she may love him for other reasons anyway....

After the first couple of times I no longer bothered to do that for my ex-wife cuz she did not appreciate it anyway. I did it now and then for the ex-fiance and she liked it. However, if she had come to demand and expect it, I would have told her to jump in a lake.

It isn't always breakfast in bed.. it is just the little things.. touch of a hand, brush of fingers against a cheek while passing, happy little pat on the bottom and a smile or wink..  one single rose...

My thoughts on reading this ... It's not specifically the breakfast in bed ... This 18 year old wanted to know how to "make" the BF "...be so sweet..."
Do we really want to MAKE someone be sweet ... Insist upon breakfast in bed .... Demand the dozens of roses and huge diamond ... ???
How sincere would it be if I TOLD him how to love me and he just obeyed?
I agree with Loreli that it is part of their nature ... And I add this: Good love shared is love growing and changing .... Learning each other's needs, wants, desires ... And that feeling of wanting to please the partner ... Putting his/her happiness above your own .... And if it is right, that very same feeling is returned.

yes its the little things that show your not only thought of but cherished... it is something for you, something of your preference, and done with great care and thought.
In life its all the little things that matter most...
I guess thats if the big things are right because big things matter too.... its just that the little things is what we "feel" most.

be careful what you ask for... herpes, pregnacy and other STD's can be unexpected too
Also adding your lover is a sham, ex con, scam man and cheater... all unexpected.
