Clean windows AND a date?

Knock me down with a feather!

Yesterday the guy I hired to do my windows (cuz I'm too lazy) turned up and I'd slept in. I opened the door looking less than fabulous...and here was a real cutie.

We got yakking, he's my age, single (well, twice divorced) and likes motor racing, just like me.

When he left at 4 p.m. (he arrived at 10 a.m.)! he asked me out! Plus he charged me bugger all for the windows. Not a profitable day for him at all, but he said he'd enjoyed himself.

Now besides being enormously flattered, I'm worried he might expect more from me than just friendship (we discussed this in detail) he knows I enjoy being single but maybe he thinks I'm just saying that.

Guess I'll just go with the flow....although I don't want anybody getting hurt. Ahhh I'm such a chickenshit coward.

So...what do y'all think? Should I go and reiterate the friendship thing? Or not?

I wish I was him. You look pretty hot and I bet it would be fun to be all over your body.

It couldn't hurt...meet someplace neutral in case he expects "payback."

And-it could be the best thing you ever did!

Awww Custis...you're too sweet!

Umm well yeah girls, he's seen me at my worst, and he does look 'kissable'...I'm a sucker for good teeth and his are awesome! If you saw you Will, he wouldn't look at me twice!

And Lori...neutral is best, he suggested speedway....lots of people, noise and atmosphere, it would be fun...

Then again, I might be in a panic for nothing....he may never call.

Lets see.. he came to clean your windows, charged you barely anything and asked you out.. sounds to me like he is expecting to clean something else in exchange..

or he could just like you.. it is a toss up

Go with it - you never know unless you step outside your comfort zone once in awhile

Well DRS it's a dilemma.

If we go out and it doesn't go well, I'll have lost a great window cleaner.

On the other hand, I can think of some cobwebs that could do with some clearing.

window cleaners are a dime a dozen - good cobweb cleaners on the other hand are hard to come by

my thoughts....

He caught you at your "not so best"

spent the entire day doing your windows and talking to you.......

Charged you nothing and asked you on a date .......

It seems to me you rocked his world, and he wants nothing more, than to get to know you better ........

Not all of us expect something, when it comes to liking someone!

Rock his world cause it sounds like he may well rock yours!

just my opinion, I could be wrong........
