Yep.. after all of these years I have finally learned to take care of ME first.. because if I am no good...I cannot be here to love and take care of others.
So I guess it's all about ME

I agree with Snappy. I think in our busy lives today we often forget to pamper ourselves. I know I do. I spend waaaaaaaay too much time at work and for what? We don't even get Christmas bonuses. I need to spend more time on ME.

Yeah, they are. If someone or something is in my life and making me unhappy, I do something about it, as quietly and undramatically as possible. If money's an issue, I look at what I need first, then work back from there - either do something to decrease non-essentials or increase income, or both. If someone's in my life and making me happy - I let them know it in every way I can think of.
Jalon - used to be a woman bought hats when she needed some shopping therapy - but I'm with you, shoes work MUCH better...but when all else fails, a pedicure's a veeeeeeery good thing!

I agree with Snappy.
Even where my kids were concerned.....as long as their needs were cared for, and they were shown love deeply-I wish some more time was spent on ME.
