I see profile after profile of women looking for this guy called Prince Charming. So I looked him up. He was an effeminent looking guy that pranced around in green leotards! So I did a google search! All they gay guys want this guy named Prince Charming also! Now if I was was gay, I could understand wanting a guy that pranced around in green leotards but what the heck is up with the women! Has our society devoved into women wanting men who act like women? (tongue in cheek)

At least Prince Charming cared/cares about the feelings of a woman, and isn't all about trying to get what he can before he moves on. That and he has much better fashon sense, and goodness knows I could use some of that!

....Katie, I think that is because it will take him half a day to get the leotards off.

So you are saying you want a man who is nurturing? Like mommy?

I'm saying I want a man who will care whether I had a good day, and will teach me too cook, rather then one who walks in the door, sits down and eats (behind a paper) then goes to the family room to channel surf all night, when he knows that channel surfing makes me phyisiclly ill.

Trust me, I spent enough years dealing with pantyhose.. those things would not be an issue for more then about 30 seconds!

Depends on whether there is anything in there to make helping be worthwhile.

Why do me always question this? It's nothing that can be defined in a simple post. It's just the way we want to be treated. If you can not understand even a little bit what it is....don't question it.....you will never get it.

I dunno.. could be fun to have some pretty young thing help get them off again.

(Please note, I am none of the above.. and I am ok with that.. gave up on P Charming a long time ago. Actually, all I ever seem to find are the frogs to kiss.. or maybe I should say the toads).

...I still like your cat though...

No problem. The funny part is, I have two guys I was dating for a while, and they are both trying to get me to keep trying dating, because they both say I need someone in my life. They are sweeties, but really, I have had enough.. and just friends is beginning to be a good thing.. no requirements for anything beyond emotional support for them.. and no one asking me for physica activity that I just can't stomach anymore. Seems to work out ok to me.

....Well, there you go... it seems like everyone I know that found someone, found them when they stopped searching so hard, or even at all.

....As well, true friends are not emotionally demanding or draining.

....Still, I don't care if we are cousins... no leotards.

Nope, not draining, but it gives me an outlet for all the affection that builds up so that I don't go nuts because I have no one to pamper. Sort of a relief valve for all the caring and nurturing I used to do, and have no one to spend it on now.

Katie..... there is a "prince charming" out there for everyone! You just have to run into the one who fits your definition!

...I understand... raised kids for seemingly forever and alone for the past 16 years or so, the youngest is now on college campus and I am not sure what I am supposed to do now. Apparently, there are lots of people out there on the same page in life.

...It took awhile, about a year to get used to being alone... and I do that quite well; it is the lonely I suck at.

...You just got through with the prince charming bozo at the airport, so a break is a good thing... I am seriously thinking about another dog; did you see the cat that Angel has in her photo?
