Don't postpone the in person meeting. I did that with a male friend. We finally had plans to meet at the May camping trip in Indiana and I found out last night that he passed away last week. Now I won't be able to meet him. We were online friends for about 5 years and always talked about getting together. We kept putting it off for one reason or another. Meet! You might not get the chance again.

It's like anything else worth doing. There are challenges but there is always the chance of finding your soul mate, which makes the challenges worth it.

My advice.......
Nothing but friendship until you actually meet in person. Go into that meeting expecting friendship only.
If it turns out to be something else....awesome.
If not, you still have your friend.
It's a win-win situation.

I think on line dating is here to stay....especially with fewer people frequenting bars and clubs.
Not all churches have social functions that would be a means of meeting others.
