The people I meet seem to get weirder and weirder as time goes by. This weekend was to be spent with a lady I had recently started seeing. We had a great time the last time we were together, but this time something went wrong. She drove almost a hundred miles to my house, drove right by me while I was standing on the street waiting to direct her, then after she got back home, said she tried a payphone to call me and the quarters would not go into it. She then gave up and drove home. She had the address and a Mapquest printout. Two thirds of the people in this tiny town would have pointed her right to my house. She has been unavailable on either phone or Inet since that day, Saturday.
On to Plan B. I am driving about eighty miles today to meet a lady I had been talking to, but put on hold when I met the one who came (and went) Saturday. Perhaps this one will work out better.
