Well if I ever had doubt that men don't read profiles before, I have proof NOW! I just got winked at by a man in China and his ideal match lives in China, is 5'8-6'10 and has black hair and black eyes. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. You don't even have to read my profile to see I don't fit that criteria. You can tell from my picture!!! SHEESH!

I can't believe this, I normally just ignore winks that are farther away than my profile says, however just minutes ago, I did send an email to a guy that winked at me. AFTER I read his profile. I just had to ask him WHY?
I had a guy wink at me a few days ago, he actually lived close enough to consider. I emailed him, commented on his profile. Haven't heard a word. WTH????

I got a wink from a gorgeous little 18 year old blonde who actually lives in this country. After reading her profile I didn't write back. She's looking for a sugar daddy and it would never work because I'm looking for a sugar momma.

to funny sponge, i got a wink from an 18 y/o yesterday, that actually lives here in wa. she listed her occupation as: "babysitter for my younger sister" yup i blocked her, she must be a perv to consider someone my age.
on another note, i winked at someone with my age range and that had some stuff in her profile that indicatcted we might get along. well she winked back today, but she changed her profile. and now i am wondering what to say.

The profile is the most important part! It baffles me that anyone would think to wink based on a picture alone. I mean; yeah, pretty is nice, but at the risk of sounding corny and clichéd, it's what's inside that counts. Who cares what a person looks like if you can't stand them?

I know when people don't read my profile because they will wink at me and in my profile it says no winks lol.
AsH, lots of guys like to send winks, just because someone stated “No Winks” in their profile.

Guilty as charged, but only twice. One turned out to be a tranny. The other looks so much like my 1st wife (who passed away) I HAD to wink. Never got any response from either.
Otherwise, if her profile doesn't say she's looking for a guy my age I usually don't give her pic a discerning look. If she IS looking for a man my age I read her profile, then look at all her pics. Some, although highly attractive don't have 'that look' in their eyes (eyes are the window to one's soul IMHO) so I don't wink.
One, although she was looking for men half my age was SOOooooo gorgeous, to me, that I read her profile and HAD to wink AND send a message thru the site telling her how beautiful she was to me. She never responded in any way shape or form. Kinda proves she was NOT a scammer, IYKWIM. Of course, she got purged with all the other women from that part of the world. Proof is, if she was scamming, why didn't she respond?
Go figure.

Doesn't shock me. I had two winks before I had been posted for one minute! I replied to both, one wrote back. He was a funny irish guy. Too far away to worry about. One never replied.
