All my married friends say hang in there there's someone out there for you. I don't know if I believe that or not. What do you think?

Well if you dont' want to be alone or single forever, then I'd sure hope you would believe there is someone out there for you!

I personally think there is someone out there for everyone, it just takes time to find that person, its a lesson in patience.

AngelB,

Check your email.

You're still young, so you bet. Other than what I sent via your mail, I recommend posting in the forums frequently. You will make a lot of new friends, and I can guarantee, your email numbers will increase considerably. Winks too.

There are many men out there who would be compatible/out there for you. I don't believe in one single person theory. Its that if you want one you have to be proactive.

I KNOW there’s no one out there for me, so they’re wrong. But, that doesn't mean there isn't someone out there for you.

I'm not sure I believe either, but I refuse to give up hope. I figure if he's out there, I'm going to find him, and if he's not, then I've met a lot of people a long the way and from each I will learn something new. Classy...not sure about increasing email numbers from posting in the forums. I've not gotten any increase at all... And, I've been posting for a week or two now. I enjoy reading everyone's viewpoints on things though, and actually I feel that it's helped me immensely. ...... Yooohooo!!! Frog Prince, where are you?

Hi Angel, be active and stay positive! the more you are involved in things the more likely you are to meet others. Keep a positive attitude and enjoy the journey and quite possibly you'll just bump into him by "accident" on the same path one day!

Well, for the second time in one day, I agree with Graystar.
There is noone out there for me, thank God......or at least I hope there isn't.
I believe if you want someone then there IS someone out there for and love will find you when it's time. Just don't make the mistake of not finding happiness in life without this. The more whole and complete a person you are by yourself, the better your relationship will be once it happens.

I'm convinced that if the soul mate theory is valid that my true soul mate must have been killed in a tragic shoe tying accident at the age of 10, leaving me alone for eternity.

Don't cry honey, you will make Waiting sad.

There is no rulebook that says you can't have more than one soulmate.

Lady,

Hmmmmmmmm. I've sure seen a major increase. I forgot to add the flirting part. In case you hadn't noticed, I do a lot of that.

According to the replies in my 'Role Reversal' thread, men appear to want us to pursue them. Write someone you are interested in and ask them out for coffee. I did it, and it worked for me.

Mmmmm should I toss a coin up in the air on this one? Mmmm

You know that's not the question you should be asking. What you should be asking is what type of person are you?

there are two schools of thought on this one:

A - you watch the world rotate around you hoping "the one" will come find you if you wait in the same spot long enough.

B - You decide if "the one" exists or not your going out there to find out and perhaps find out that your one isn't "the one" you thought he was.

There are no hard n fast rules - make a plan -be happy with the plan & stick to it. lol easier said than done.

Waiting... sorry 'bout that. I just had one of those rare, weak moments. Don't be sad!

johnw... I agree. It's not wise to stand still and hope our dream person will appear. In my corner of the world, it's not the lack of the dates... it's the lack of QUALITY of the dates. I have no preconceived notions regarding my perfect man. But there are certain lifestyle things I AM looking for... such as marriage and having a child. Finding someone interested in those two things at my age is much more difficult than one might imagine. But hey, let's all just keep the faith and keeping on truckin'.
