People allow themselves to be defined by things other than who they are physical appearance, personality,or circumstances. Do you allow yourselves to be defined by what other people think? Or do you define yourself by your lifes achievements, how much money you have in the bank or how successful you are? Perhaps you define yourselves by how much education you have? Yes I am talking to you  grammar police!
I defined myself as wife and when that was taken from me, I had to dig deep.
It was a dark place. I sure didn't want to go in there alone. 
What defines you?

My sense of humor, as warped and twisted as it is........ I like to laugh, I like to make others laugh.....
No matter how grim the situation, I will find some smart ass remark to try to cut the tension. And I hope like hell, you " get me " when that happens, cause laughter makes you relax a little, for even a few minutes.

I think it's a combination of things. My family, my friends, my career all contribute to who I am. And then there's the inside part, values and character. And the outer person adds to the mix too. So many things go into defining who I am.

What defines me?
Well, I think with age we tend less to be defined by other's standards and more by our own. I don't have an actual definition for myself, because I'm someone a little different everyday. So...I define myself by the progress I make in becoming the person I will be?
