Weekend Dating Report-----Have I finally found her?

It is dark and peaceful outside. I just got done standing on the motel balcony as a small black car pulled away into the night. I can see the small bright lights of the fishing boats moored on the floating dock a block or so away and the distant roar of the ocean is a comforting bass rumble as purple clouds float across a moonlit sky.
I decided to drive to the coast yesterday morning and it is 1:36 a.m. Pst as I am writing this. When I came over to the coast I was not really thinking of dating anyone, but while I was here I decided to call a gal I know in the area. For the sake of this narrative I will call her Sharon.
Now Sharon and I have been talking on the Inet for quite a while but I never really took her seriously. For one thing she is a rabid right winger and I am more of an independant quasi-liberal. I never thought we would ever get together. Anyway, I went ahead and called her and she said that she had already committed to a date with some guy and was going to meet him for the first time. I joked with her and said "Ok, but as soon as you see that he is a loser, go ahead and give me a call."
I spent the day tooling around to the beaches and walking in the sand, in spite of some rather chilly and damp weather. I later got a room at a waterfront motel and as I was beginning to wind down, Sharon called me. Her date was a total disaster and she did not care for the guy at all. The next thing you know she is on her way to see me. I invited her into my room and we spent the next several hours having the most delightful gab session I have had in a long time.
Sharon is a red-haired 41-yr old beauty with an hourglass figure and sparkling green eyes, not to mention the cutest damned snow-white smile. Her features are gently chiseled with full lips, a perfect and very-slightly upturned nose and elfin chin. Her personality is every bit as great as her looks. I was careful to keep our conversation steered away from politics and she finally came right out and told me that her chemistry with me was far greater than she had with her ill-fated date.
About two hours into her visit we were laying on the bed together laughing and chatting, but it was totally innocent. There was a bit of mischievous slightly naughty banter, but I read her well enough to know that I should not go for the bait. Finally, she left about half an hour ago with a couple of light kisses. And dig this, SHE asked if we could get together for the day tomorrow.
In summary, I think I could really fall for this girl, but we do have our differences. However, I have a feeling that we both have the maturity to work around those differences. I certainly hope so, because right now I am feeling like I want nothing in the entire world so much as to take her into my arms and kiss her until my lips fall off. But I am going to keep my cards close to my chest and let things roll along slow and natural. Spending this evening with her into the wee hours was a highly pleasant experience and her smiles and laughter still seem to fill the room.
