Sure I believe in the midlife crisis...I’m having one right now! I expect it to last well into my 80s.

It starts at puberty and ends at senility.

Not sure if it ends there, but that's close.

MoonBeam.....make sure it's a convertible!!!!!
"MidLife Crisis"......I think it is a term that is used by other people when they see someone doing something that they can't understand or relate to. Eventually, we all reach a point that we realize we are mortal. Everyone reacts to that realization in different ways and to different extremes. I think the crisis comes in when one's actions and behavior affects those around them in an adverse way.
So, one viewpoint is the crisis is being had by "innocent bystanders" not the person that has realized his/her days are numbered!!!
My $.02 worth.....which I know isn't worth too much these days!!!

My "crisis" years seemed to be in my thirties......but just gave me the outlook on life that I have now which is that "its just life" no biggie.

Oh yeah!!!!
As far as I'm concerned, men have cycles--just like women. I've noticed it more around early to mid-forties. It does vary.
A woman might go through the empty nest syndrome and get weird. It can be tough, especially if they spent their lives cooking, cleaning, and taking care of children. They feel they have no identity. Of course, that is malarkey--nonetheless...
A man might fear he is getting over the hill, and start chasing young women. It is my belief, men base their identities more on what type of career they have. If they haven't established themselves--job-wise--they become fearful, thinking they have failed themselves, or others.
Of course, these are just a couple (of the many) examples. It can last for a while. When it comes to mid-life crisis, nothing is set in stone.

Definitely! I just peeked. You must be at the very beginning stages. Change your preference to 18.

Yeah! 18-22...that sounds about right. I should up my income while I'm at it to increase my chances...dunno why I had stopped at 100,000.

BNut, mine seems to be starting now, too, but I suppose only time will tell if I can manage to learn anything useful....I didn't do so well with the twenties decade
But it's like all my ideas and ideals are beginning to be called onto the proving grounds; sometimes I do well, sometimes I don't, and sometimes I even have to change my ideals. It's strange and scary, but good...

Moon,
Just think of it this way. You've already gotten it out of the way, so the future looks pretty bright.
