You know if you hang around dating sites long enough, you might actually run into someone who you genuinely feel a connection with no matter how hardened your heart has become.
I just had a scary interaction with someone on another site with whom I actually felt an instant connection after only the very first contact. This even after all the lectures I've given people online never to let that happen.
I'm not writing back right away. I want to savor it as long as I can because it'll probably be all over by the second one. I don't want to give her a chance to ruin this feeling prematurely. 
But I must admit. I can barely breathe right now. Wonder if she feels the same.
.... nahhhhhhhhh ... that would be too good to be true.

Now now people...I think that you all are missing the point of this thread.
I don't think that he wants advise on when he should contact her again. I think that he is just enjoying that wonderful feeling of "loosing your breath" when you think about that person or see them online. It's an incredible feeling. He dosen't want to loose that just yet.

maybe SHE is savoring the connection, but will be hurt if a lot of time goes by before you write again.
