don't know where you grew up fender, but I did in ND in the same town where I still live...always said I'd leave this town and did once...should have never came back

Oh waa waa waa try being a little Dutch girl and your Oma dresses you funny. Those mean little white kids and brown kids picked on me something terrible. Until  I learned wooden shoes can really leave a mark.

when I was 7 yrs old and just a starting to explore my neighborhood with me 3 little white buddies and we all went over to jay"s house...he came running out of his house and said hie dad told him I wasn't allowed to come and play in any of the reindeer games with them because I was "a f*cking indian"...my first experience with discrimination...it weren't wooden shoes but I think my face must have looked like Kawliga's as I sulked on me way back home

Here's a possibility. You could have an affinity toward women who share certain ethnic resemblances to your mother, such as darker skin and eyes, because you seek what is familiar and comforting to you. In other words, your psyche has a preconceived picture of what the ideal woman is like...and she is darker complected. I think it's perfectly natural. This is no more profiling than being scared of clowns. We like what we like and there is nothing wrong with that.

10zie It may be more about my overall childhood familly setting then just what my mother looked like. She does have the dark hair and eye but is more olive skinned.
But a lot of the women who I am most attracted to come from a mulitracial family and it to me it does feel more acceptable and familiar.
Its was only outside this setting growing up that I was laughed at because my mother spoke with a hard accent or because of the way a family member looked.
It did make me feel very unaccepted.
