I think things have gotten better with interacial relationship you can tell that some are still unconfortable with it and I that might be normal given what they may be used to..
It does take a while to accept these things.
For my witness
I used to be very uncomfortable around anyone who was gay. Male or Female.It was only until 3 yrs ago through my my job and working closely with an open lesbian and my boss who is openly gay, that I finally broke my illogical train of reasoning
When I look at what has been written so far about the subject it is nice to see the progress. Even the most opinionated would be considered progressive 20 yrs ago
I hope we continue the progress..
We should be free to like who we like.
If its not for us we dont have to figure it out because we may never get it We dont have too it may not be for us
but we should continue to learn how to accept and respect one another.

The first girl I ever kissed was a lovely 18 yr old Phillipino. The first girl I ever had sex with was an equally lovely 17 yr old Chinook Indian. In the years since then, I have dated just about every nationality and color there is. Race means nothing. Personality and physical attraction is everything.
Culture can be a different matter. In some countries folks have ways that many of us simply cannot cotton to and vice versa.

Yes, physical attraction matters, and I can't find much physically attractive about black men or Asian men.

Our world has too many bigger issues to deal with than for us to worry about ethnic origin, sexual preference, or religeous beliefs....
My son-in-law is black...and the best thing to happen to my daughter...I adore him...and they have given me 2 beautiful g-children...
Besides...when I go to Portland...he makes the best BBQ meals I have ever had!!!

You know what? I have dated just about every different race there is. Color is really not the issue I don't think. (although this is my personal opinion) Sometimes physical features CAN be the issue. Like LGQ said, I wouldn't be able to find a 400lb man physically attractive either. I don't care HOW nice he was. Call me shallow, but there are some things that attract us and others that don't.
With the guy I'm with now, it's those cheek bones. Don't ask me why, but they make my knees weak. If there was one race I was not particularly attracted to, it was those of Asian decent. Why? Again, a shallow reason. I found it awkward to be with a man the same size as me. After all these years of looking up to men and being just enveloped when they hug me, it was a sensation that I didn't enjoy to be dating someone "petite".
Again, I may get trashed for that, but I could care less. I've made it clear to my boyfriend that if I could find a Chinese man who could cook me shrimp fired rice and garlic chicken with broccoli like at my fav eating place...I'd marry him in a heartbeat.
Here is the thing...can you be friends and associate with people regardless of how they look, the color of their skin, their sexual orientation? That is the big question I would think.
Who and what types of things my belly flips over for is another thing entirely.
p.s....I'm NOT licking Micks lips. Ewwwwwwwww. Now Steven Tyler....that's another story.

Yeah, that's pretty much what it is...the physical features. Just like I'd never date a thin man because I don't think they look good...it's the same with men of different races.
