well, scorpiolovelygirl...you couldn't really call it an online "dating" experience, but rather an online "chat" experience...and it turned out to be one-sided, (just like my
"one" telephune call), so there...mrs. potato-head!

ok scorp, I'll give ya a true story, jhy...I once met a wimmens on POF and traveled to Woodbury, MN to meet her for lunch..she was a part time model and I was excited to get there and see her in real life (she had sent me some great pix of some of her modeling shoots!), but when we met she was going thru a sort of mini-crisis with her daughter and we had to cut our date short and she wouldn't be able to see me the rest of the week...she offfered to drive me to my motel, was actually kind of insistent, but I refused because it was located only one block from the resturant we had ate at...when I got back home a day later I had an email from her telling me I should have taken her up on her offer for a ride...because she said she was turned on and she would have went in the room with me for...

Well up until I met my girlfriend Tami, the only girls I met online that I really wanted to get serious with were women who only wanted some sex for a few nights or less and then they vamoosed. Anyone who thinks that men are the only ones looking for one night stands is out of touch with reality.
Ok, a particular experience that stands out? About a year ago I met a gorgeous brunette who lived about twenty-five miles north of me. We had a great date, lunch, riding around looking at stuff, supper, walked a hiking trail at a park and fed wild animals by hand. She kept going on about what a great time she was having and how she wanted to definitely keep seeing me. I said that was fine by me. We finally parted company shortly after dark with promises to talk again later that week and arrange to go out for some more fun times together and see where it led. She never answered her phone again and vanished from the dating site.

The lady who is now my girlfriend, Tami, says that our first actual date together was the perfect date. From Coos Bay on the Pacific coast, we drove north, exploring the beaches and other sites. At one beach we saw a 56 ft dead whale washed up onto the shore. While I drove we had really great conversation and chemistry that was obviously building. We had halibut fish and chips in the town of Newport, and then went to the beautiful aquarium there. Tami says we had just the perfect mix of good conversation, great food and fun activities. When I dropped her off that night I stole a reluctant kiss from her while we were still in the car, but the following weekend we could not wait to be in one another's arms. The rest is history.

I had a really hot nurse contact me once, and we set a date. She flaked on the day of the date to go see a show with her girlfriend that was playing 5 nights a week. I finally did, against my better judgment, go out with her. After the second date I told her goodbye when she called me to complain about other guys she was dating!!
Had another cancel a date with me the day before because the guy she really wanted to go out with asked her out at the last minute. Thus she didn't need me, her backup plan.
Another told me to call her after the date, and then didn't return my calls. Found out later she didn't think I made enough money.
One lady was supposed to meet me at Barnes & Noble. She called me about 30 minutes before then to stay that her nephew had been in a car accident, but that she would call me later. She never did.
I lost track of the number of "you're a nice guy but" emails I received the next morning after dates. And they wonder why I stopped dating.

It wasn't from this site, but another one. Short version of a long story, I started exchanging e-mails with a lady, and we agreed to meet. She was having a garage sale that weekend and invited me to stop by her house, which I did. In the course of the garage sale, this guy stopped by on a motorcycle. They got to talking about whether her college-age son would like to buy the bike, the fact they had gone to the same university, how he lived "right over here," etc. Well, when I got home, I sent an e-mail thanking the lady, but telling that frankly, I thought she had more chemistry with "the guy on the bike," than with me, and maybe we should just say it didn't click and let it go.
She sent me a looong e-mail the next morning, about what all was wrong with me, and how my e-mail "smacked of jealousy" and we weren't even dating yet, etc. etc.

The good story,, went out got laid she gave me $10,000,000 said see ya.
There is no bad, BUTT there is funnies
First a little bio, I did commercial construction most my life ( yes plumbers Tan), Then drove a truck for around 15 yrs straight. In driving your meeting women daily in every city in the USA and canada,, no Not counting the Hookers.. I'm talking the business office type.
The point, meeting a female is not a major turn on .. getting laid is. 
The story,, ( On POF ) ,, it's summer, I've been remodeling a house for over a year, working 12/14 hrs a day 7 days a week...
The female contacts me ,, she 58 ( ? ) manages an estate, has been a horse trainer,, managed horse ranches, so on,,
In a week's time, she asking this " don't you want to meet me ? " Me thinking >>>> who the hell cares but I reply with not really.. Ok this must have set the hook, The next two weeks is meet me, meet me. she offer to come here, but has to know the back roads, she doesn't want to drive the freeway, ( 180 miles )
What the hell, I need a day off, why not drive up there. I do, it takes over 3 hrs,, very bad directions off the main road.. I get to the Estate around 11 am.. all is well,
we do the hi how ya do's ,, look around some. The estate is a early 70's double wide, with blackberries growing over a deck that must have been built in 1971. You could feel it giving way under foot .. 
Oh did I say owns her own business ( sells crap on ebay, I checked, her intake averaged 120$ a month )
The days plan is to shoot the BS, late go to the local casino for lunch ,,say good bye..
we shoot the BS ,, in doing this I get the ol 10,000 questions,,, she brings up alt life styles ( gays).. Me thinking holy shit she gay .. . But I just roll my eyes, This is about the last thing I Need to talk about.
O shit she almost blows a nut, LOOOOONG silence. I could see she wanted to say " get out" .. Mind you, I had not said a word about anything ,, Not even that my step daughter is a Dyke a Bull Dyke
O back up.. this 58 yr old woman, is really 61, but at 61 no one talks to her.. hey she look good, AND all I hear for about 3 hrs was how her leg almost rotted off and that her B/F of 10 + yrs was 14 yrs younger, but left her for a younger fatter woman. plus the new one bought him a Brand new motorcycle .. 
it's about time to go and eat, That casino is over 20 miles, I'm think you drive yours, I drive mine, we say bye after eating ..
She checks her car, but gets out, she check hers pickup, but gets out ?? They stink inside, so she gets in my car, Holy shit again, I smoke, but don't smoke around other people,, she had quit smokes months ago..But hey she wants to go in mine anyway ???
Off to the casino ( BTY I hate the indain casinos ,, vegas ok ) we eat, is no bad, not good.. now for a woman that doesn't drink ect.. she knew that place like the back of her hand.. walking around she brings up the damn motorcycle again, which she she's is a Honda gullwing 6 cylinder, Finally I told her Honda didn't make a gullwing 6, there called a Valkry ,, Holy shit again, the veins on her neck almost blew.
Ok we are in a casino right, again I do not blow my money on Indain casinos. But she has to hit the machines, of course she gives me the OL wheres the money honey look. I give her the kiss my Ass look, so she digs down and comes up with a 20, which is gone in 2 minutes, Time to leave.. and we do. ( damn I can head home soon )
Opps,, I really need to see her horse,, ( Ok ) Thats 20 miles on the north end of where she lives... Fine.. I head to see the Damn horse.. at this point I'm about 7 hrs into the rotten leg, the ex with the fat G/F and the brand new bike. and still looking at a 4 hr drive home.
We've seen horse, feed horse, nice Horsie,, good bye horsie,,, wipe the shit off my shoe and leave horsie ..
take horsie woman home, say seeya long time later ,, you might guess I did not get laid, she did not get me money ( don't know why )
The very next day and on THIS site, she opens a profile and does a Blog about men that are liars, Topic being They smoke and say they don't..
WTF we meet on POF, my profile states I smoke, it states my age so on...
not that I'm 58, but really 60+ or manage an estate, which is living in a falling apart trailer house on a few arces, that belong to some 70 + yr old gay guy, That built a half in the ground house in 1976, That has never been finished and he's now to old to do a damn thing.

I live in a remote area of Oregon, she live even more remote and about 10 miles away ,,
she is at the time 48 blond and HOT as hell ,, Think of Painter, only Sexier
  Most her income comes from modeling, yes at her age she is a model.. for real.
In the mails, I tell her of the remodeling, she ask if I need help and I did, Sooooo, I gave her the job with doing drywall,, a very dirty dusty job.. we worl alone for just over 2 weeks,,
The meeting between us was only to do that job, we did it..
