what is love to you.. the many ways that you show it, or your s/o shows it.
I make his coffee the night before so all he has to do is turn it on in the morning.
I let him know how much I appreciate him.
lets go from there...

The morning calls... the noontime texts... the wanting to be near me ...the being chivalrous all the time... ( I havent had to open a door for ten months now  ) the caring how you are feeling...I try to show him how much I love him by working side by side with him and alone at times to achieve what we both want..and just the little things ...they can mean so much...and the big one the willingness to talk out a disagreement BEFORE it gets outta hand and never airing dirty laundry in public..its called respecting someone that is a big sign of love

He gave of himself in every way possible.
Worked full time jobs that he hated, cooked ,cleaned, did all the housework, owner built a house.
Tried to make her laugh, to connect, to predict her wants & desires.
Looked after his body & mind , appearance, the best he could, so she would be attracted.
Gave her space. Secretly asked other women what more he could do.
Romance, help, nourish......if she wanted something like hot chocolate in bed, it was there.
The exacting detail that he could list, would even blow away the most hurt women.
Whatever he could do to make her happy.This wasn't work to him.He loved her deeply.
She never had to lift a finger.
He went without clothing & more so she could have the material things.
He put her first & never asked for anything in return.
A few times he even saw the look in her eyes, her body language, at a party, for another man.
Still he stayed with her, trying, hoping.
Maybe, just maybe, one day she would reach out & touch his hand?
He loved her that much that he finally saw he needed to set her free.
Not being able to walk away, he went insane & pushed her away.
That's when he learnt the true meaning of pain & love.

To me...a total connection, emotionally, physically and mentally. It's rare, but fortunately for me I have experienced it once in my life. He has passed on. I consider myself blessed.

Relationship love is doing what "seems" like the little things, like listening when you're not interested, sharing something you really want to keep for yourself, laughing when you feel like crying....and the big things, like not pushing buttons when it feels like the easiest thing in the world to do.
Great in concept; terribly hard in reality.
