List the things that you cannot tolerate while you are in a relationship with a man.
*Bad Habits/ Manners
*Mamma's Boy
*Bad Hygene
*Excessive Alcoholism
*24 hr. House Bum
*Calls you insulting names like: Sperm Recepticle, etc...
etc... but be very very descriptive, I mean if it has to do with bad hygene, as an example, then what is it in particular? He only bathes every 3 days or so, or never floss's, doesn't clean up piss splatter around the toilet.
Be detailed about what you won't tolerate and will initiate the end your relationship with him.

Infidelity .. PERIOD!!!both physical and emotional.. I mean why be with me if you want something else yeah??
Abuse.. mental and physical
drugs.. been there done that its BS
excessive drinking.. same been there done that its BS
being a lazy bum... grrrrrrrrrr
bad hygiene um EWWWWW if it wasnt there in the beginning and it worsens then um yeah its a problem.. shows a lack of respect for me as well as himself
oh and if I found they were abusing my children or children period in ANY MANNER... leaving him would not be an option.. it would be WHERE to bury the body

- ANY type of what I consider infidelity...
- Emotional or physical abuse
- Disrespecting me, my property, my pets, or my family
- Taking nude pictures of me and then posting them online
- Asking me for a threesome.
- If the communication and conversations stop or the affection and romance stops

Why is it that so many women say they would never stay with a man who cheated, drank, abused, you name it, but then do?
Every woman says "Not me, I'd never do it." But then so many do. I lost count of the number of times I have seen this. There is a disconnect there somewhere.

I think I wrote about this story on this very site a long time ago.
Years ago I heard screaming and yelling outside my house on the street in the middle of the night. I got outside and saw this guy pummeling a girl ... I mean he was wailing on her something fierce. This girl was headed for the hospital.
I ran out in the street and did a flying tackle on the guy and was trading punches when all of a sudden I felt something hitting me in the back. It was the girl! BOTH of them started wailing on me.
Next thing I know they are BOTH yelling "Why don't you mind your own business?!"
WHAT?! This girl was gonna end up in a body bag, and she's telling me to stay away?
Boy did I learn MY lesson. The girl is probably dead by now.

I would hope that by the time we had reached relationship status ... I would know that he didn't fit into any of those /\ /\ /\ examples.
Sometimes a liar is so good that THAT is not evident until having been in a relationship ... Getting to know family .... Friends ... etc. Time often shows up a liar...
Dishonesty... covers a lot of ground ... Won't do it. Nope.
Must have transparency.

Pretty much what everyone has already said. It is sad that some say they won't stay if this, this, this and then do stay anyway. But sometimes it's hard to disassociate with someone you have a history with. It's the familiar and the new uncharted territory of a single is scarey. You tend to stay with what you know, even though you realize it's wrong.

That's exactly right Sign ... sometimes the bad you know seems safer than the good you don't know. I think this is exactly the explanation for what I noted above.
That isn't the first time I have seen a woman who was being physically battered by a guy and stayed with him anyway. It's horrible.

I think the women have already touched upon most of the reason I would not stay with a man. And with that said, I think when I was younger, I was different. Perhaps it was naivete or perhaps I was simply more tolerant.

As we go through crap we find out more and more about who we are and what our boundaries are. JMHO.

Been there, done that. I was young and dumb. Now I'll call it quits if he's even inconsiderate. I learned that I really DON'T need a 'male companion'. A man, yes. But someone who does the stuff listed above, and especially a physical abuser, is NOT a man by my standards.
Anyone can find someone if their standards are low enough...but 'someone' really isn't enough if he's not the kind of 'someone' you really want to be with.

Guilty!   The trouble is my feet are so weird I can't wear the same pair twice, I have to move the pressure around...they're actually two different sizes so I end up collecting them ...I know. Excuses, excuses!
