I am pretty quiet in a social setting. I think it goes back to my extreme shyness when I was younger. But I am also a people watching and like to observe and learn from others.
Once you get to know me...............well, I've been accused of being a chatter box.

What kinda impression (you think) you make on people when they first meet to you ?
Probably as a quiet man, not really shy but generally quiet. When I'm in a crowd I spend a good amount of time listening to others speak. I listen to how they express themselves and if they appear to express genuine interest in the others around them. I do this to build up common ground relations (rapport).
...as a person, do you think that you make positive impressions very easily or do you have to “grow on them” first for a while ?
I like to speak generally after "the center of attention getters" have calmed down a bit or exhausted themselves. I am very inquisitive and can always start up a friendly conversation from nothingness especially when the situation appears to be stagnant. I am always observing my audience's body language and adjusting to accomodate their comfort level.
Often I am face to face with long winded chatter boxes. I generally just wait it all out until I believe they are low in oxygen then I start my charm. If the chatter box decides to start up again and cuts me off in the middle of my thought.... I patiently wait it out again and continue where I left off.
There are times when I am determined to get my point across so if I believe it necessary to be stated I will wait out that time while pretending to be a good listener in those circumstances.
And when dating do you feel like the “ hot staff ” or like “ I'M JUST SO GLAD I GOT A DATE !!!! “
Probably closer to the second choice.
I'm pretty critical on the difference of what I consider to be a date and what I consider to be "a meet and greet to hang out for a bit" session. This second option is much more like a business appointment and not a real date....... so ladies don't even call it a date if you know what I'm talking about.
There is no such thing as a group date. More than two people is a hang-out session or a get together. I don't intend to have group sex or partner swapping later on should a romantic relationship be formed...so I guess you get the picture.
I don't believe in lame-ass speed dating either. That kind of behavior is for people with ego issues (players).

I come across as the quiet, shy type. The one who always sits in the corner while life passes him by. Once you get to know me, u find out that I am just another chronic masturbator.....much like yourself.

I give the impression of being either laid back, or maybe rude while I am really just rather quiet and don't go out of my way to converse with people. Alaskenmike, you give me the impression of some kind of retarded man ape creature with that photoshopped pic.
