My first impression was that she was naive. That she thought the best in everyone, including those who didn't deserve it.
I've altered that theory a bit since then. I think she tries to bring out the good in everyone, even those who have no good to bring out.

She was and is a real sweetheart.
She may never get what she deserves, they don't make men that wonderful.
Her heart is huge, and when I found out she was a teacher, it all fit into place.
She rocked.
She holds your relationship with you, personally, and you aint gonna be able to sway her thinking for her.
strong mind to go with her strong love.

Then I got to know him a little better, still an asshole, but one I can respect. 
That pretty much covers most of the guys, Jester, Issues, Pete, Spoonge, we may not be cut from the same cloth, but we sure came from the same factory.
