Nothing really mushy or particularly outstanding that I can think of at the moment, but.....
I got carded when I was about 32 or 33. I was getting a 6 pack for a friend and a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi for me!    Been told I look about 10 years younger than I am several times since then.
Also, that I'm fast and efficient at work!

I just received this e-mail on January 8th from a person I consider to be a deeply sacred woman....I do not believe I have ever received anything more beautiful than this. Her writing made me weep, and it still does....
She wrote:
"I know where you are from.....
You are - in my experience, my sense of you - from the "realm of God"
I know of no one who so has the sense of whatever we mean by the heavenly realm as you
I know of no one whose Soul is as undistorted in her "imago dei" - her image of God, - her Godlikeness - our true image - as you
I sense very little that separates you from your true nature
When I see you or speak to you or have the grace to be in your presence it is as if an angel takes form before me
You have a luminosity of Soul

I went to a Christmas party with my extended family and my mom's cousins grandkid told me no way do I look 40 and he was in his late teens. It was funny but a nice complement.

I think the best compliments come from the most innocent. Nothing is contrived--it's about as pure as it gets.
For a father of females, nothing is better than hearing your little girl saying that when she grows up, she's marrying her daddy.
I've dated a teacher who says she knows she good at her job when one of her students absentmindedly addresses her as "mom."

mine..isn't a verbal complitment..but more that I was shown how much my friends love me....
I'm on medical leave from work..but every morning when I wake up and check my mailbox....it's full if notes from my freinds..my snail mail box has at least 2 cards in it every day, my phone rings on and off all day...and when I don't answer..there's always a message ..
They have let me know they love me...and it just makes me want to continue being the person that I am to me..that is the biggest compliment I can have

I think the best one i ever got was that i was to sweet to be mean to. though i really don't know how i can be considered sweet. but i take it all in stride, cause i know they don't see me at work. 
I get evil with the guys i work with.
