One of my best was when my kids got me a cap for father's day - it said "SuperDad".

I've gotten a few...
#1 on my list is when my son tells me, that, I'm the bestest mommy in the universe. 
#2 on my list is when my parents tell me that I'm the perfect daughter.
#3 on my list came from someone here..(no matter what else has been said) it was that I've got incredible hair, a Mona Lisa like smile and nearly perfect face. Yep I still like that one.
Oh and all the times I have to show someone my drivers license to prove that I'm really that old. I love those!

Sitting at the kichen table the other night painting my nails, my 17 year old son reached for my hand and told me I had beautiful hands, and that at looking at photo albulms he saw me feeding his older sister as a baby and that my hands hadn't changed in 20 years. Just pretty darn sweet coming from one of the orneriest kids on the planet!

(Dang, why do all the brilliant hot ones seem to be 37, not 47? ~sigh~ I'm a woman who's chronologically old before my time )

I've been told I'm classy, most honest person they've met, called "Baby Einstein", but still not sure that was a compliment or just my hair. LOL...
After losing my husband, my youngest daughter withdrew and wouldn't express any type of love, until about 2 yrs ago, when she hugged me and said "I love you mom". That was one of my happiest moments.

During the holidays, I was with my brother and daughter and we went to a local coin store to buy my nephew a gift. There were two elderly men who ran this shop and one of them was talking to me and all of a sudden he stopped and said. "Ma'am, Sorry for staring but you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen". I actually blushed
and thanked him. It was very sweet. (My daughter insists I have the "power" in my eyes and wishes she had that)...
Actually out of all the compliments I would have to say I hear my daughter always tell me that I'm the best Mom and her best friend in the world. She even tells her friends this.

Hahaha, well the best compliment I recieve is that I give "good needle(s), it didn't hurt a bit." I don't know why I find that to be such a nice thing to say.

Because, Chickie, it sucks when they miss and then they start to dig around in there. OOOOOHHHHH, I hate it when that happens. Unless of course, you do acupuncture, then some are just plain old afraid of needles and expect them to hurt.

Edeawitch: Your post made me sad...and made me realize right away that anyone who is willing to post such a statement is obviously a trusting soul. You openly shared a vulnerability that skirts a pain, and to do so shows strength. It's too bad there aren't more people in this world willing to share like that and be open like that.
My biggest compliment? I asked my five-year-old daughter what she wanted to be when she grows up...her reply was, "A mommy like you."

Just yesterday I was talking to my ex-husband of 6 years. He actually told me that I was a great mom, that my boys were lucky to have me. OMG, blew me away.
