The one I hear quite a bit is that I have beautiful eyes. Btw, I have to agree with Roanin. Although I don't know AngelLight personally, she always seems to have something nice to say about everyone even if she disagrees with their point of view. She really seems to have an affinity to connect with people on an emotional level.

Hahaha, well the best compliment I recieve is that I give "good needle(s), it didn't hurt a bit." I don't know why I find that to be such a nice thing to say.
I'm a hard poke chickie..I would love if one of my nurses gave good needle..lol instead of 9 pokes for 1 vial...

My son told one of his friends that he could never lie to me, because I always taught him that nothing was more important than honesty. This, coming from a 10 year old!

Why thank you so much Ahny! And now may I return the favor?
Ahny...you by far, send the best messages I've ever gotten, When I first saw your picture, I have to admit, I thought you would've been a writer...and you should, because you write beautifully and when my mom saw your picture, she had you pegged for a poet, from Greenwich (sp) Village...LOL So soulful looking. Not to mention, totally sexy, hot!!!!!

Three stand out in my mind. One was being told I was "charismatic, with the ability to lead people"; the second...after sharing some spiritual writings with a friend, she said "you are a writer" and I heard the same thing last week from another professional friend. Finally, when my kids talk sadly about their friends and say "their mom isn't like you, she doesn't spend time with them or talk and listen to them".
Because I was married to a very brilliant man, anytime my intellect is complimented, it means alot. (Particularly since my ex treated me with more than a little patronization).

I have been told by many that I am "sweet"; insightful and a talented writer. Have been told by a few that I am sexy, delightful and fun to be with

Interesting replies, and I also love it when the guys at the liquor store ask for ID. I tell them that my son is old enough to buy alcohol and they just laugh. Then I tell them that I am a grandmother, honestly. The look on their faces is hilarious. Well, it sure makes my day. (or night)
The best compliment I ever received though was a guy I had never met who sent me an email that ended with ... Your smile could sell toothpaste!

Roanin...I must, at last, reveal my secret...I have direct and around-the-clock access to this undiscovered, almost untapped genius who writes all my good stuff. I write the less than brilliant simply ordinary replies, stupid comments, and verbal idiocies. This guy I have to do my writing is handsomer than I am, better in every way, wealthier, cleaner cut, actually shaves everyday, has BLUE eyes, is more sensitive, more romantic, more intelligent by far, and is AVAILABLE. He even wrote my profile. I told him what I wanted to say, and he wrote it. He writes in a way that most people can only dream of. He has a listing on matchdoctor. I'll reveal his name in another thread. Look for it. He's a friggin genius...I'm not kidding. As beautiful and as SEXY as YOU are...he is the same. Somehow, nature gave him extraordinary intelligence, style, class, and character. I pale next to him. Next to him, this St Logan we call him, I am a mere mortal.

My personal trainer, though fabulously unsuccessful in my case, said:
"I think you are a great role model for younger women --you're about what real women can look forward to in real life -- and it's all good."
Of course I did pay her for the sessions.
Nonetheless, I felt rather invincible that day

Christine a friend of mine once called me a "Renaissance man." She was one of the few people that noticed all the qualities that make me far from ordinary.

This is very corny...but my ex from years ago (my high school sweetheart) wrote a little "story" for her English 101 class in college about first loves. I was the topic. She wrote it after we broke up, but we remained friends. It wasn't all "fairy tail" like...just her perspective of how we were. Just sweet. I still have it and it still makes me smile to remember. Simple days, simple "love".

The best compliment other than the usual ones from my children when they tell me that they would still like me as a person even if I were not their mom, would have to be that I was told that the warmth of my heart shines thru, that I am a quality woman, unique in my own right, driven, who could handle the the heat of the moment or the passion of the storm with ease (he went on to compare me to champagne and the fact that once you have had the champagne, sparkling water won't do any longer), but mostly that he instantly felt a level of comfort with me (the same as an old pair of jeans).

OK, I have a new one as of today...I was told that I'm not a dirty old woman...I'm a fantasy. I gotta like that one! (it came from one of the young bartenders I work with) (and no he wasn't drunk at the time..LOL)
And Anhy...who is this guy...maybe I should talk to him instead...LOL
