From my father, who is my hero - (and VERY recently died of cancer) He told me that he was proud of the woman, mother, friend and human I had become and even prouder that he was my father.. Then he told me that if laughter were actually the best medicine, I would have cured his cancer without us ever even knowing he had gotten it.
From my son - He loves being my son cuz all the other little boys at his day care wish I was their mom too. Oh, and that I make the best blanket forts when he is home sick from daycare - makes him wish he was sick more so he could stay home and get me all to himself.
From my daughter - She asked me to teach her everything I know so she could be just like me when she is my age - and she wants muscles too!
From my Ex - (while we are going through a divorce) "I wish I could just meet a woman EXACTLY like you....again....or have you back... Hope the next guy knows how lucky he is."
From my dads girlfriend of 15 yrs - "You are the backbone of this family. Dont you ever change that, young lady"
From my sisters - "You are our best friend!"

I received from my daughter's friends "I wish you were my mom"
and also I had one elderly woman walk up to me and say "I can tell you are a christian"
Those 2 things have always made me proud

On mothers day, Haban took me out to eat and when we got our food, we prayed.
A few minutes later an elderly lady came over and thanked us for praying.
I just smiled, and then had tears come into my eyes.
