Yesterday I landed in New York, and when I arrived at my hotel I sked the recepcionist about a few directions to stores and restaurants, etc. Long story short, I am dating her tomorrow Saturday that is her day off.
Although I consider that people is just people all ove the world and I am just going to be myself and provide and have a pleasent time I can´t ignore the cultural barrier.
What woud you recomend me NOT to do? and what SHOULD I do?
For example, I know that here people do not salute with a kiss like back home, so I wont kiss her inmediatly after saying "hi, good evening".
Any tips or advices?

Wow, how wonderful for you Agustinge! Relaxing and just being yourself is the perfect thing to do. She'll also be aware of the cultural difference. Depending on how your evening goes of course, there's always the kiss goodnight!

I'm thinking someone should call 911 for the OP.
Either she's a killa or a luva. Stay tuned...

date was a success!
We met at "Le relais de venise l'entrecôte" can´t remember very well the address but ti was on the 500 of Lexington Avenue (I believe it was on the 590 or 509) very nice restaurant, french cousine. We talked a lot about our lifes, our home towns (she is originaly from New Hampshire, Sory if I spell it wrong, thats how it sounded to me) about her travels, mines, etc. A funny thing, we went to the same hotel at the same date in Paris!. She is 25 living with a roommate in Brooklyn, her roommate is a very nice person she plays guitar very well we sang many beate songs the three of us then her roomate left and we where left alone. It was very nice moment, very relaxing and very intense at the same time. The next morning I went to my hotel had a shower, went to the hospital had one cirgury, went back to the hotel so her at the front desk, and when she checked out we went for a pizza and she walked me trough Manhattan, she knows some very special places! We visited the entrance of the Dakota Building where John Lennon where murdered (never being there and this is my sixth trip to NYC!) and across the street where is a moisac that says IMAGINE that is very beautiful.
Thank you all for your kind advices, lucky me she is a very easy going girl and we felt very comfortable together.

So far, so good. Anyway I am not putting too much expectation on this... just living just enjoying every day as much as I can.
New York is a great city, and so far is the city where I feel the most like at home becuse you can have dinner late and there is always something going on.
If you go to New York and you enjoy it then you should visit Sao Paulo, Brazil and of course my beloved Buenos Aires, Argentina

Glad your stay in NYC is going well.
