Kinda strange that the best and worst parts of my life involve women, I feel myself sinking further and further into a void and counseling is not helping.
In catholic school I remember the passage "an god created woman for its not right that man should be alone". pandora in greek mythology was created for the same reason. through out human history women have been our strength and downfall from samson and dalilah to sid and nancy.
I am so sick of women charging me up only to reverse the current, I could understand if I changed during the course of a relationship but I dont.
Is it a crime to want someone to spend my life with?
I know one must have hobbies and friends and I have those things but I dont get the same rush as I do with the touch of a special female.
Do women just not have the time for relationships? do they want only to fit said relationships into the thinnest slice or their lifes pie?
are any of you guys fed up as I am?

People have busy lives .... sometimes the idea of a relationship is great, but life happens and it doesn't always work ....
Am I fed up? No. But I accept my own reality about it and quit worrying about it ..... I'm the common denominator in what hasn't worked ( and since I'm single, I guess that means all of them ) .... apparently it isn't going to as far as I can see, so I set the concept of me as part of a couple aside and go on ....
I've pretty much given in to the attitude of being happy that I tried even if it failed, instead of placing blame on this or that or the other .... yeah, I could do that, but really, what's the point? Where does it get me .... ?
Are there great women out there? Hell yes .... would a lifetime partner be nice? Again, yeah .... but I refuse to make it a priority .... maybe it isn't right to be alone, but I reserve the right to keep it that way ....
And if I get to the point of being ready again ... we'll see what happens ....

mort...its that womens lib crap...makes most of 'em feel so empowered with themselves nowadays that they fhink they want more than "just" a relationship with a man and are being told by society they can have it all, and all of it on their terms...this internet dating doesn't help any either, because online the women have an even greater advantage about who and what man they are going to let meet them...also, wimmenz lib told them us guys are easily replaced with some fancy electric vibrating dildo

My perspective has been different than yours.
To me it seems that most women want exactly the things you described: someone to spend their lives with, someone to make time for, a special man to adapt their lives to.
Can you give us some details of an actual experience you had? Maybe that would help explain our difference in perception.

Ok here is my choice making criteria.
1.Does she have time to devote to a relationship.
2.Do I find her attractive.
3.Are we mentally compatable.
4.are we sexually compatable.
5.Does she live in my city(dont do long distance)
6.Do we have the same taste in movies, music, etc etc.......
7.Does she not have kids or have older or adult kids..(I avoid those with younger kids.)
8.Does she show affection(not the same as sex).
9.Does she have male friends(I avoid that like death)
10.Does she like to go out all the time( High maintanance)
11.Does she drink alot( people do stupid things when drunk)
12.Is she faithful(go without saying but if the others are in check this is taken care of)
And all the women I enter a relationship with have these qualities AT FIRST!!!!!
only 2 have stayed true and one got deported and another got another job out of state only 3 months into our relationship and I aint movin out of a paid for house.
And I recently broke rule five but never again.
But usually 1,4 and 8 go out the window after a few weeks especially 1.
They always become too busy to have a boyfriend and then get mad at me when I move on saying they still had feelings or some such BS while justifying that they did not act like they still cared. thats why I am fed up.
Tired of women changing the dynamics of relationships without informing me like I did something wrong when it was NOT me that changed.
I try to be honest about what I want without leading someone on I just want the same courtesy.

Nope, the common denominator you. You and Women. the women change but the you hasn't.
I don't know if I ever had a love hate relationship over women.
Love lust sure, but hate no.
More like a mistrust.
Time my friend, it all makes sense and comes clear with time. You woman is out there, just give it time.

A coupple requires of both.. if it fails is because of both sides fault.
A woman like to recieve some atention but they don't want to be chocked or get suffocated. Give the lady the chance to miss you!
