I have noticed that a lot of people on MD are only here to post in forums, or to kill time at work in a boring job on a boring day! Who is really here to find a match?
I am always disapointed when I see a profile which I find of interest, which says "only here for the Blogs!"
MD is a dating site. I came here, with good intention to find a partner. If I wanted to rant or blog all day. I would choose facebook or twitter!

Noooo. This is a dating site and a friends site as well. There are quite a few couples on here. They either met here or elsewhere, and found that they enjoyed the people so much that they stayed! I think that speaks volumes as to this company's choice of making a two-fold site.
I am one of those people that is only here for blogs and forums. I've been here about 2 years and so far, have not found online, or LD love to be a fit for me. I'm not gonna leave here just because it upsets people who are only here to date.
It's not like I stopped breathing, lost the ability to share or participate in discussions.
But you know what irks me?!?!?! People who only post one photo, and it's like the size of a chicklet.
What's with that?

Plain, only a very small percentage of MD users actually post in here with any regularity.
If you're really serious about finding someone, do some searches on the criteria you're looking for and get to contactin' the vast majority of users you never see on here.
You may not find what you want. Dating sites can't guarantee everyone will find a match. They just give you the tools and access. The rest is up to you.

Yes Cold...I take chances on someone new everyday. However, in this case he's across the border(been there done that) and I think he's past the point of trying to help with raising another kid. If we were in the same country I might still give it a shot....he a good lookin fella from what I can see of him  Good luck Notsoplain...I'm sure some nice lady will discover you
