How do men feel about dating women who are taller than themselves?
Does it make you feel uncomfortable or are you ok with it?

Yes John, but if you were 5ft 8 would you be uncomfortable with a woman who was 3 inches taller? If so, why? If not why not?
I've only know one guy who had no problem with taller women but find that most guys are uncomfortable so I'm wondering how guys really feel about it and why.
If a guys height matches a woman's the guy does not seem to be comfortable if a woman wears heels. But this is only in my experience, so I wonder if it makes a guy feel "less than a man" or if for some it is a matter of social embarrassment because a man, within our cultural stereotypes or norms, is "supposed to be" taller than the woman he is with???

I am 5'91/2 and I can not date a guy that is shorter. I am not sure why, but it bothers me. I am sure that I am missing out on a really nice guy, but I just don't find myself attracted to a guy shorter. I may think that he is cute, but I can't imagine it going further.

Well, at 5'8", most of the guys I've dated have been taller, but there were actually two who were not taller than 5'4", and might have been less. Both were very intelligent, sexy and brilliantly funny - and secure enough not to care. If they didn't care, I sure wasn't about to waste my time worrying!

I'm 5'-9" - but I think MD goes by 2" increments. I like taller women but most tall women aren't crazy about dating a shorter guy. The biggest girl I've ever been with was 5'-9" and 195 lbs.

I have absolutely no problem dating a woman taller than me, but at 5' 10" it's really never been a issue. If I were lucky enough to land an Amazon Goddess, why would I complain?

I'm 6'2". I don't recall ever dating anyone taller than me, or maybe I just didn't notice.

At 6'5", it doesn't happen.
Did date a New Zealander who was 6'2" - it was nice.

6'1" here, unless they are 5'10" with 4" heels, they won't be taller and if they were or weren't it wouldn't bother me.....I always do enjoy a great pair of legs.

I'm 5'10+
I've dated a few guys shorter than me but it was awkward, LOL. Like bending down to kiss the guy. Feels bizarre. I like to wear heels too, which is really funny when the guy is then another 3 inches shorter. giggle.
When you go dancing it is really nice to be with a guy that is taller, especially when slow dancing.

At 6'2", there was never an opportunity. However, a long time ago, in church no less, I was sitting behind an attractive girl who was taller than me. My mind began to wander and I realized that I would probably feel awkward or uncomfortable dating her. I don't recall why I thought that nor can I explain it more now.

I still don't think it's a problem. The only thing that could is if kissing while standing up was an issue - even still I'm sure I could get a little box!
Why?Mmmmm I guess always being tall it's difficult to answer. Height just has never been an issue (lots of things are but not that for me)
Saying all of that , there may be a point when it becomes impractical. No I don't mean silly but just unworkable. The box was a joke by the way but it raises a point.

I am 6'2" and once dated a six footer...I nicknamed her "shorty" . She didn't like it. She put on a set of heels and called me shorty . I didn't like it so I quit calling her shorty. End of story. In other words, we were happy, having fun and didn't care .
P.S. When she had the heels on, I stood on a step above her to kiss her. I could see right down her dress.......I do love tall women!!!

I can't imagine making love to a guy smaller than me, he would make me feel like a guy.
YES 7 that is IT! I could not figure out why I felt uncomfortable with a shorter guy and that is IT exactly! Now I know!

I'm almost 6'2" but would have no problem dating a taller woman.
In fact, I've got a huge crush on a pro woman's basketball player, Ruth Riley (I'm sure you can do a google for pics and such), and she's 6'5".
