This has been around for awhile, but just got another copy of it from a friend (a guy, of course)...

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 40 most of all.
Here are just a few reasons why:
A woman over 40 will not lie next to you in bed and ask, "What are
you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think.
If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit
around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And it's
usually something more interesting.
Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with
you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant.
Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they
think they can get away with it.
Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to
a woman over 40. They always know.
A woman over 40 looks good wearing bright red lipstick. This is not
true of younger women or drag queens. Once you get past a wrinkle or
two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.
Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off
that you are a jerk if you are acting like one! You don't ever have to
worry where you stand with her
Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons.
Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart,
well-coiffed hot woman of 40+, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow
pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year-old waitress.
Ladies, I apologize.
For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk
for free." Here's an update for you: Nowadays, 80% of women are against
marriage, and why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an
entire pig just to get a little sausage.

I actually read an article that said that 39% of internet daters are over 50. I thought that was sort of high until I looked on MD to see how many older profiles there were.
If 39% of all Internet daters are over 50, they must all be women over 50, dating younger men.
I corresponded with many men over 50 last year and none of them made arrangements to meet. At first I thought I just wasn't the right woman for any of these men.
But after this pattern developed, this year I contacted all the men over 50 in my address book and none of them had asked ANY woman for a date last year. One told me that men over 50 are no longer interested in relationships.
So, I have started dating a younger man and corresponding with younger men.
Have any of you women on here ever had a guy over 50 ask you for a date or try to pursue a relationship?

guys over 50 asking me out? Yes and had a great time. They can be very sexy. They usually dont have alot of baggage, are more available with their time, realize all work isnt so important and still blush.

Ok, I think I've got it............
Rare Questor plans to live the rest of his life in this make-do retirement home, here at MD, irritating the "retirees". He doesn't need to plan for retirement, since he doesn't plan to be around by the time his 60th birthday comes around. He doesn't want children--which is really good news considering what "life lessons" he thinks he has learned.
I have known Tarlock's teenage son all of his life, and he could teach Rare a lesson or two on personal relationships, since he is more mature. He knows that life changes all the time, and retirement can be alot of fun. I know he will enjoy his life well after 60.
Sure hope Rare enjoyed women before now..............

Heaven, dont you know ....guys over 50 will ask a younger gal (15 to 25 years younger) out for a date and even buy her dinner......its the attention they are wanting, kinda like that diamond ring on thier finger, the convertiable, or the expensive watch....... It shows they have MADE IT, ENVY ME AND SEE WHAT I HAVE its all window dressing The younger gals eat it up.....they are taken to nicer places, drooled over, babied, and treated like a daughter..... maybe the guys had a perverted mind, they kept under control when younger.....
