LOL only the deepdish Chicago style. But I haven't seen anyone use anything else, it's stew on a big ol' pie crust. If you're referring to my profile, it's because I honestly only prefer a man to be intelligent. You're right, I could put that in there. Grammar seems to great place to start. So PFFTT!

Fingers, its always better with fingers. It not how ya say, it whats meant. Patience clear and grammar issues, patience and want. Then they turn to cute mannerisms ya would miss with out. What gets me is non photos. Dirty sneaky bassturds. What they hiding?

Well, non-photos...usually tells me it's an insecurity issue, or they think they're so hot that they don't want to scare the person off, or lack of a digital camera.
P.S. Willow, thanks for attempting to get my back. I appreciate it.

or no pictures might mean that pictures reflected in a mirror get negative responses so you are trying to find the directions to your digital camera so you can set it on a shelf to get a better picture

I can understand a word here or there mis-spelled..But you click on a profile and cant make alot of sense out of it..It isnt something I desire. But Im not going to call them out on it..just move along. And I know all the southern slang..If it doesnt even sound like that..lol Skip on pass.

Good points Dude. You can tell when someone is just using slang, and when someone really can't put a coherent sentence together. It's the latter I have a problem with, not the typos or random spelling mistakes. God knows I'm guilty of both

Thanks alot y'all, it's great to be here, and I was sure I wasn't the only one.
Rockin', I have a hell of a Southern drawl, I just can't seem to kick its tail-end. If I can't make it out, then yeah, it's just not gonna happen.
I'm trying to think of another red-flag...
Oh! I'm not sure this has been stated before, but when a someone says they will do anything for that special someone. I came across one profile that actually said that they were submissive. Maybe that's great for some, but to me, that's a big "please lead my life!" sign. A definite no-go.

I take writing classes in college right now...and the last two terms have gotten As..but I still mispell words and my sentences are not the best...but I do my best...try to improve....still get it pointed out to me on here when I flub up.....but only laugh....and ignore....and accept people for how they write, and who they are.....unless they are just plain mean and spiteful.....

I will always talk southern, no doubt about that. I grew up in Alabama. And southern people can tell from each southern state the difference, from state to state..in accents...lol

Literacy and the ability to communicate through writing is not a universal skill, unfortunately. Here on MD . . .our text based choice of online connection . . .it becomes much more detrimental and annoying because in many cases a person's written word is our only window into who they are as a person.
As much as I try to be understanding and tolerant . . .while at the same time being so very appreciative of those make an effort away from sloppiness and incomprehensibility . . .I now find it less migraine inducing to completely ignore some people here because of their abuse of the language. This issue has become a sort of tripwire for my time here . . .the first time I actually understand what some of these people write it will be a sign that I have been here too long, and I will have to make yet another hasty exit.
YMMV

Some very smart people are also poor spellers.. So no need to judge them, unless you know what they are all about. And no need to try to excell oneselfs own spelling trying to make look someone look stupid !
