What are the best dating tips or insights you have learned here?
I really liked Mischief's thing about kissing at the beginning of every date. I will use that one, except I probably will not do it on first dates like he does. I actually tried it this week and it worked great

"Don't kill her" seemed like a good rule of thumb.

1. Show interest in him...lots of eye contact. He's taking you out to be with you, not taking you out to find another guy.
2. Don't offer to pay ( unless you invited him ) Go with his suggestions. There is nothing wrong with the little restaurant locally.... don't break his budget for the week.
3. Don't be too serious. Dating should be fun...laugh together !
4. Don't get drunk....it's never a pretty site.
5. Don't forget the hug, and kiss on the cheek when the date is over...and of course, let them know that you appreciated the time together.
6. If things went well, suggest that you would like to make dinner for him soon. ( this will let you spend some time together, without the financial pressure being soley on him )
dinner, rent a comedy movie...and enjoy !!

After dating for one month don't think he is serious. Its dating and getting to know each other 1-3 months after you first meet. Don't get sexually intimate too soon. Big mistake women make.

Show up.
Be yourself.
Listen, at least occasionally.
Don't make plans for a second date while you're still on the first one. Give yourself some time to think about, just don't overanalyze it.

Have fun.
The first date should be like a five-ticket ride at the amusement park. You need to climb down and say, "WOOO that was awesome! Let's do it again!"

Pick him up at his place, that way he has no way of leaving
even if he wants.
Offer to pay for the meal, he'll see that you are a giving person.
Keep buying him drinks, it will come in handy later when you try to seduce him.
Gently rub and squeeze his leg under the table. This will show him that you really care.
If he goes to the restroom, show your concern and ask him if he needs any help.
After dinner be polite. Ask him "Your place or mine?".
Most important: Always say thank you the next morning.
Hope this helps.

I must admit that those would work for me. They could even drop the buying drinks part.

Be open, but not too open.
Show manners, but not too many manners.
Etc etc.
