Does a persons name make any difference whether or not you would date them even if the name is unbelievable.

I think I'd be immediately turned off by someone who calls themself ElevenInch69...not because it is unbelievable, but because I'd be more impressed by an IQ and heart than a public dick and lick.

Do you mean a user name or a real name.
I'm going to run screaming for the hills from the next girl I meet named Tammy.

Oh!!! "REAL" name...WAY different.
Well, I'm not too fond of the name "Elwood", but I could learn to swallow my giggles if he was called "Woody", I s'pose.

Very funny sunbabe. But I know a Woody(That does sound funny saying that) this is a once in a lifetime name. Kicked out of 5th grade band class because no parent would name thier kid this name. People argue with him it's funny at times.

ILLLOOK,
No, the name would not make any difference in my dating preference, but if it is one of those name game things that some parents believe is cute when they themselves were: (a) delirious with fever, (Ima Hawg) (b) on a natural high (Stick Round), or (c) thought it might toughen up the child (i.,e., as in the Johnny Cash hit.. Hello, my name is Sue) then it might provide me with a serious case of giggles and then profound sorrow for that poor person!

Yes, that name would be a turnoff because it would indicate some 11 year old stuck on the basement computer. The name is beyond foolish.
As for real names, I can't really think of any that would bother me. However, for some reason the name "doug" reminds me of a hole...

A particular name wouldn't necessarily dissuade me from dating someone, though I have found that names such as Al, Fred, Chuck, Frank, etc. haven't been the best of luck for me
Hmmmmmm, after thinking about it, I might have a problem dating someone named Chester......It would be sooooo hard not mentally following it with "the Molester". Wasn't he a cartoon character in "Hustler"??? Double

Maybe if the lady's user name was Psychoslayer666 I would probably be a little cautious!

Ok I guess I should just come out and say it. I have recently been talking with 2 ladies from here. When we got to the part to were we gave our names one I think believes me well I think she wrote back Huh? but the other wrote back saying that isn't my name and I must be tring to hide something an has not written back since. In the real world I would just show them my CDL but that doesnt always work. I was at the SSA office getting a new card when I had to drive 20 miles back home to get my birth Cert. because they wanted to put it as J first name D middle name. But my name is really just JD no middle name is it really that hard to believe.

Sure glad I`ve got an ordinary name..
A name is a name..people can`t help it if those are the names they were given at birth... its not funny to make fun of a persons name

I worked with a guy who went by that name. He had the same problem. It's not hard to believe at all.

Warrior was that his really name it would be a first for me to hear that it usally stands for something. I had to have the courts in San Diego make a type of ruling because I got a ticket and tried to take care of it but they couldnt find it. Then on the way to a Sammy Hagar concert my friend got pulled over they ran warrent checks on all of us and I went to jail and missed the concert.

My name's no winner, but I truly could not date a man named. . .
Harold Cox. . .or Richard Head. . .or Michael Hunt.
Imagine calling and asking for them at work. . .could I speak with Harry Cox, Dick Head, Mike Hunt. . .
I just don't think I could stop myself from the inevitable. . .

It stood for John David but I think he wanted to change it to just JD as a name without the periods. There were some people that got confused.
