no, but i've been hit on by one before.
i'm in my early twenties. last year i attended a party with mostly high school kids ages 17-19... i was probably the oldest one there. someone had brought beer and vodka, and everyone was getting drunk and rowdy. a neighbor called the cops and they busted everyone for underage drinking.
i figured i'd be allowed to leave because i'm over 21, but i don't drive and of course i don't carry my birth certificate or passport to parties... so i tried to explain my situation to the officers and they were all incredibly rude and vicious. one of them went so far as to insult me in front of everyone else at the party. after the first three hours stuck in this strange house (i didn't even KNOW anyone there, i had no car, and my ride had bolted when she saw the cop cars) i began to cry, and the sergeant mimicked my voice and burst into mock tears. he told me that he'd have to take me back to the station and lock me up because i didn't have ID. since i'd never been in trouble with the law (and never have since then), i didn't know that he wasn't allowed to lock me up for that. so i cried harder, and he continued to mock me.
finally, after all the underage kids had gone home with their families, it was just me and the cops. i guess they got tired of playing with me, so they finally let me call my mother. it was 2:00am and i woke her up.. she offered to bring my birth certificate in for the cops to examine, but they said it wasn't necessary. all that fuss, and it wasn't even necessary! they just enjoyed keeping me there for FOUR HOURS and tormenting me with promises of a night in a jail cell.
well, my mom got lost on the way to the house because she'd never been there before, so one of the cops had to drive me out to meet her. he wasn't one of the tormentors.. he had been standing quietly in th back, observing, and now he had volunteered to drive me home.
i was still shaking and crying... and when i got into the back of the police car, i had something of a panic attack.. my heart was pounding, i was gasping for air. my mental state is generally precarious, and this night had just pushed me over the edge. the cop spoke soothingly and tried to make friendly conversation. he apologized for the sergeant's behavior and explained that the cops around here get bored because nothing much happens, so sometimes they like to poke fun at other people's expense. he said he would've liked to stand up for me, but he couldn't talk back to his boss. we talked for the half-hour ride out to my mom's place... we talked about our hobbies and interests, and i told him i'm an artist. at the end of the night he asked for my phone number. within the next week he called me several times and asked me to go out for a few drinks with him (which i found ironic), but i wasn't really attracted to him that way so i politely declined.
but, yeah, that's my only "hit on by a cop" story.

l I'm getting a cigarette to read that, then I'll be back for an edit.
Those macho idiots. How dare they treat a young woman like that. I just hope your mother was furious. Jeeeez.....that makes me angry hearing a story like that. I guess it's just another example of the profession attracting the "good" and the "bad". Sorry you went through that. Was is that saying? "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger?"
Sorry, I took the break. I thoroughly enjoy reading ALL your posts and wanted to take my time absorb it all.

actually, no! one of the big problems i have with my mother is that she will never stand up for me. my father was abusive when i was growing up and she never said anything to him about it. (incidentally, my dad was a correctional officer! "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.") my mom just thanked the cop profusely. later, when we were alone, she sided with me... but she never would've challenged an authority figure to his face, no matter what he did to her daughter.
Sorry, I took the break. I thoroughly enjoy reading ALL your posts and wanted to take my time absorb it all.
aw, thank you! i'm glad someone enjoys them. i feel like i do too much bickering... i sincerely don't mean any nastiness, i just love to argue!

I'd be very hesitant. If he were a really good guy you would worry through every shift. If he were a jerk they can be hard to break up with. I have known way too many that tried to use their position to intimidate and harrass when rejected.

No, I never have. Would I??
YESSS! Absolutely. I'm not really amped for locals, I like the state troopers (or DPS as they're called out here). YUMMY.
(' ');
More specifically..... the DOT Troopers from MA, ME or NH.
I'm from that area and Ladies.....WoW. Those men are HOT. Cool uniforms, nice SUVs and trucks, mmmmmmm! (' ');
Unfortunately, I don't think I ever COULD date one. I think it would be a serious conflict of interest. (job-wise).

LOL. That's why I specified DOT cop.
You can't change what attracts you
The DOT (DPS) cops are the big truck NAZI police.
And I'm a truck driver. CDL-A
Try to imagine my distress. CONFLICT OF INTEREST!
Here I am on the side of the road with a big rig and a DOT cop who's just LOOKING for excuses to write me &/or my boss thousands of dollars in tickes.......And I'm trying to act all professional and polite.
In Boston I suffered a year with the worst 'hots' of my life. Gawd I had it bad for a Everett, MA DOT cop. Worst of all was having to see him nearly every day, getting pulled over by him 3 times and never, ever being able to do or say anything........

I guess if you women can say you like a man in uniform I can say I like a woman in a short little maids uniform with spiked high heels.
Absolutely scrumptious.

I guess I'm confused....what does his profession, as long as it's legal, have to do with anything? Gainfully, legally employed is a good thing, right?
