Sweetie, naw, don't think she is jealous, gee, she is telling the truth, younger guys are after older women all the time. Lol, have one now I can't get rid of unless I want to be rude who is just forty, lol, that wants to marry me, HE NEVER HAS EVEN MET ME. He says he is looking for a job in this area and moving here, NO. I have never even given him any encouragement. This kind of thing happens all the time, NOT the marriage thing before meeting, but the young ones not wanting to give up. Have a twenty two year old sending me his pictures everyday, wanting me to respond, gee, NO. By the way, he has a college degree, a good job, very muscular, and tall, and VERY handsome, but do I have anything in common with him, absolutely not. Do I need that to boost my ego, NO, lol. Lol, and mischief, can he afford me, obviously, YES, lol, and I don't come cheap, am not a gold digger, but by the time you get to be my age, it is good not to have to worry about money or finances. Do I want him? NO. Like I said, it is called wisdom, maybe experience, lol. See that stuff gets a little old to us who have to deal with it all the time, and sometimes very aggravating. Lol, I just adore the ones who are looking for a mama, NOT. Then there is the eighteen year old boy who for two months has been trying to show me his private parts on cam. He says it is his fantasy to reveal himself to an older woman, oh my. Then there are the ones who say, if you ever want to feel young again, get hold of me I would love to make you feel young and have sex with you, lol, NO. This is not even addressing the ones who say that they have always had a thing about older women and have never cared about women their own age, tons and tons of those. Lots of those were seduced by older women when they were younger, and they loved it and have never gotten over it. Then there are the ones who just have this thing for older women, period.
So see why she talks like she does, it gets old fast.

Do not worry what people in society thinks. Most of the people are hypocrites. They may not approve of things, but if you look in their closet you will surely find much worse things.
I am even older than you are. So, to find younger women to date, I have to almost entirely utilize dating web sites. There are many younger women who like to date older men for all different reasons. But, I personally have found it easier to find younger women who are of races that are different than mine.

Relax, I was just trying to make you blink and smile.
There are many younger women who like to date older men for all different reasons.
I would never date a guy 20 years older than me. I already have a permanent resident card.

Guess I can say the same thing I did in the older woman, younger man thread...it's gonna depend on the individuals involved...the old mind over matter thing, if you don't mind, it don't matter.
And Sponge is right...the only thing that gets brought up more often than age is weight. Maybe we can ask MD to set up a 'been there, done that to death' forum.

Society is okay with it...the rule is not to date anyone younger than half your age +7 (once both parties are adults, of course). LOL
I agree with Mischief. Most of what women (of any age) get from a man (of any age) is a compliment to which the only reply is "Thanks." If the woman finds you attractive, she might pay you a similar compliment. But unless one of you is inspired to start an actual conversation that the other is interested in pursuing, nothing is going to happen. It doesn't have as much to do with age as it does with common interests.
I also agree with everyone who has mentioned that if you narrow your search too much, you'll overlook something special in a place you wouldn't have thought to look.

Very interesting answers all. What I am surprised by though is that all of the ones that are responding, seems they are in their 30s and 40s and 50s and so on....Since the topic is on dating 20s gurl, I was wondering if any 20s lady came forward and gave her two cents -- or even taking a chance on me -- even though seems a long shot on here........

I quickly found out that doling out compliments--especially about looks--is a waste of time. If the woman really is smokin' hot, your complimentary email gets lumped in with the bazillion others she's gotten. If the woman really isn't so hot, then she's pretty much pegged you as being disingenuous.
Bottom line: She doesn't want to hear the same old, same old from every guy who's trying to get in her pants. It gets boring.

Believe it or not, to get to 40s, 50s you have to be 20 something first so I am giving you my take on what women that age think of older men coming onto them. They have a smorgasbord of men to choose from they don't want men old enough to be their dads.

 I didn`t get laughed at all those years ago when I dated an older man..age has nothing to do with how *Mature* a person is..I`ve seen a high level of maturity from some of the younger fellas and ladies in here.Come to think of it I`ve seen a low level of maturity in the older adults..so I say again age is only a number.

I've worked at a public school teaching kids how to read since 1987. (They do the reading; I correct them when they err.)
So I, admittedly, do spend a lot of time staring openly at their faces--while they are focussed on the printed word.
Many of you undoubtedly would agree that the faces of children are angelic.
Almost all little girls provoke a warm feeling inside me.
I would never do anything unseemly with a female who is that young though.
However, that is not to say that I am not still "attracted" to women in their 20's. I believe it is the genuine innocence that appeals to me.
Yet....this "romantic drought" continues. 
In His time.  Not my own.
I might think I'm ready; but my ways are not necessarily His ways.
