If people would just slow down and get to know someone they meet,maybe we would not all be single! lol
See this alot on here,you talk to some,then poof there gone,
Guess they click on a better profile....... looks like its all timing.
But we are humans,always think there is something better on the next click. A shame...
So many people are matches but dont take the time to let it happend.

Thats the cool thing about the online thing. I don't have time to just rush out and date someone this time of the year. I do have the time to write and get to know someone then plan a date if things work out. It really bugs me when someone has almost nothing written in thier profile then the first email says lets meet.

Kinda hard to plan a date when there is so much competition,one click on a better looking profile and your plans will be gone! lol
Like I said,if people would just take it slow and get to know someone,if you feel a click when you meet,persue it a little,it might be all good!
Guess I am one of few looking for something serious..

I will say lets meet within one or two chats.. I have found that our perception of what someis like and what they truly are like face to face are totally different. AND its just a date.. Relax.

Im with ya on this. It is that much easier for me to gauge how I feel about a person, when we get to talk face to face and feel out ( I said out not UP!  ...) each other vibes.
Unfortuneately things are moving so slow..I might as well be a snail....LOL.

There's a few things that can be the answer. Here's one that comes to my mind.
One is self confidence. Many people seem to lose that very important component when been divorced or experienced ended relationships. We tend to go about every day with out growing in this area of our being. If allowed, it can hold on to us like static and we carry it around when we should work on it.

I dont neccesarily think it is moving onto a better profile that loses the interest, but the impersonal tone of simply sending emails. All you can get from that is facts, (if they're even true) but cant really get sense of personality, which makes someone seem a little less real. The only true way to get to know someone is to take the chance and meet.
