Wouldn't it be interesting if people were inplanted with microchips which you can scan as you walk up to them when you greet them, to indicate whether they were married or not, had children and their income status and mental stability?
There would be no more mystery about the attractive people we desire. No more cheating spouses or taking risks to be disappointed in the end.
Yes, in the future you don't have to search for a mate 2,000 miles away, they are down the street and they are a perfect match for you.
What are your views on this type of society? Do you have a better vision or anearlier one to go back to.....like the free love society of the 60's?
What is ideal dating of the future?

~shudder-shudder-shudder~ I LIKE being a human being, relying on my own abilities of 'reading' and dealing with intangibles...if it'd been strictly a chip or a 'computer match' or based on profiles or family status' (kids), age, even location, I would have missed out completely on the most precious man, most beautiful experience, in my entire life. ...in OUR entire lives.
Nope, the "old fashioned way" for me...for my kids AND their grandkids. Please!

Wow... Just the mere thought of microchipping people in this country makes my skin crawl. I'm sure that our Forefathers would be turning in their graves too. I seriously doubt it will ever happen given our US Constitution and the fact that "We the People" would probably overthrow the Government.
Interesting topic. Nonetheless I agree with Sun. I heard awhile back there was some interest in microchipping humans so that we could erase our money system and rely solely on computers and such. No longer would we have to pay cash for things. I don't know about that idea either. Skeeeeeery!

"We the People" would probably overthrow the Government. I can only wish
"We the People" need to keep an eye on this, because it's already happening (by choice, so far...supposedly for 'safety/personal security reasons') And no, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, until I see "things" coming true......~shudder~

I don't know how many remember the idea of microchipping the population was tossed around after 9/11. People with microchip inplants could avoid the long lines in airports, supposedly. Fear drives people.
(I don't even pay my electric bill on-line).

What are you smoking, Striving?
Ya know, even if we were all planted with microchips, there would still be the issue of physical attraction. Unless you're suggesting some feature in the chip that would "zap" us into finding that 350 pound, oily haired, zit-faced, onion and tuna scented member of the opposite sex to be SEXY?

Great idea......
The transponder (transmitter) chip in women would provided additional information such as lip temperatures (both upper and lower for the ladies) as well as moisture temperatures and content.
Further information provided in the deluxe models might also include but not limited to; breast and nipple size and shape as well as gross weight and of course libido status.
The receiver would look similar to a PDA (small pocket size radar screen) with settings available to receive certainly designated "Squawk" settings. An example would be Squawk 7700 = booty call...come running, a 1200 = let's meet for a visual, 7600 = that time of the month.
On the transponder side women could program this option with their selection wand.
Hell yes, the possibilities are endless. You may desire to patent this superb invention.
