I know exactly why I'm alone, and it's because I divorced that sorry stinking scummy excuse for a woman!

Because it is a dating site? Because it is expected to find single people on a dating site?

I`m alone because..
1)My Valentine hasn`t found me..
2)I haven`t found my Valentine yet...
3)or perhaps its because I quit looking for a Valentine.
Oh wait! I`m not alone my Daughters here..

I'm grilling Cherub archers for dinner. Valentine's Day is good if you are a florist or a chocolateer of sorts. I am neither, so Cupid and I are getting together for supper. I'm marinating him as we speak. Where is the Grinch when you need him?

Only to the winner of bobbing for severed human hearts (we have to be festive, it is V-Day, after all).

Human nature also consists of cannibalism and deciet.
As for longing for that special someone to return to my loving embrace...
Hot chocolate and a good book have proven to be outstanding substitutes.

well, for starters Valentines isn't a real holiday. Are we off from work? Nope, but the problem is that there is no real commerical stuff between Christmas and July 4th. So marketers had to choose something to gear up the economy. Certainly Black History alone will not drive people to spend. But if we can have one holiday where you have to go out and spend, boom you got yourself a booster.
Take a look at the other non real holidays of Halloween or St. Patrick's Day. Where is my day off to celebrate those? Nope you ain't going to have it. Yet Halloween will make people buy candy, dress up and go out. I have to buy candy for my neighborhood kids knocking on my door. I don't have any kids but I still have to buy some. OR i could turn into that CREEPY guy. Hell no!
Anyhoo, V-Day is just another day. I look at it as balence since the Super Bowl was a few weeks ago.
It is funny nowadays because marketers are now aiming at Singles on this day. WHy not? You don't want to leave everyone out.
