What qualities would she have to make you never want to leave her,
and not even consider other women?
Dating today seems very temporary and volatile, doesn't take much
to scare a person off.

In my great grandmothers day it was often mutual necessity that kept a couple together. She says she didn't even realize that she loved my great grandfather untill several years after she married him.

I would say it depends on the character of the man.
Some would stay for money.
Some would stay for stability.
Some would stay for the awesome sex.
Some would stay just because they didn't want to be lonely.
Some would stay just so they can go around proudly showing off their trophy wife.
Some would stay for a whole variety of reasons.
And, some... would stay because they loved everything about her and because he felt like he would stop breathing forever if she wasn't by his side and there to come home to every night... because that's what he looks forward to most... coming home to her every night and just.. being with her. He would stay because she makes him feel good and happy. That's the one I'm looking for.

It is just being someone who know's what they want. It is a lady who love's us for the person we are. It is not who they want us to be but who we are. . It is a lady who seek's someone to spend the rest of their live's with through all the good time's and the bad time's It is someone who enjoy's all the thing's they do with that person . It is not what you do but the fact you are doing it together . It is someone who know's that trust and communication are the foundation of any relationship. . I could go on and on but I will save that for a blog.

1. Men want a fun and exciting (female) companion.
2. Men want great sex (consistent, frequent, and passionate lovemaking score high with men).
3. Men want to share meals with their woman companion (especially when she cooks for him).
4. Men want you to support them in their work and boost their confidence.
5. Men want you to look great, keep in shape, and express confidence about your body.
6. Men want you to listen to them and treat them with respect.
7. Men need private time, to unwind, to engage in sports and hobbies, and to spend time with other men.

Nothing wrong with having wants as long as you are willing to give to another wants too. What makes a man want to stay with a woman? The "want" word was already there! If the word "want" is bothersome then rephrase the question.
