A friend on here had an experience where a guy she was chatting with long term turned out to be bisexual. She felt total revulsion because she cared very much for him and angry because he hadn't been honest with her up front. Is this common for dating sites?

I dont think it is common but obviously it happens, I have chatted as a friend with bi guys, they obviously use these sites the same as bi women do, in search of a bit of action. The key point is honesty, they should tell you from the start.

It's all about honesty, and dishonesty. I have no particular problem with bisexuality in others, but if I am becoming involved with someone, it should be high on their list of priorities to tell me early on!!

I met a guy here on matchdoc and liked him a lot. He was open and honest about being bi. We did meet, but it was too much for me to handle. Sharing a man with a man isn't something I can do personally. I do believe in whatever rocks your boat tho, so to each their own. As long as their honest with you, who cares?

Chatted with a guy from another site long term and we talked about meeting then he just dissappeared pops back up a few months later and tells me that not only was he gay but he liked to cross dress and he was starting to have feelings for me and knew i would not ever go for his lifestyle.it is sad because he seemed like such a sweetheart but like all the others said honesty would be the first key and he was right i could never personally be innvolved with a bi guy especially with the cross dressing but it is his life and he still pops up and says hi every now and then which is cool but life would be so much nicer if everyone could just be honest.

I hang out with a guy that was Bi for awhile last year. He was a great guy, but I could not have a relationship with him. I guess I also don't like the idea of sharing.

I think alot of people would never want date someone bi if they are not. I don't have a problem with it. I just could not deal with it either.

Have had numerous bi guys try to go out with me, try to meet me. One said he was a top, not a bottom, that he would go straight to be with me. I couldn't handle it either, and he was very attractive, very nice. Have had ones say they just did that with couples and let the guys do oral on them, can't handle that, either. Have had tranvestites tell me that they operate in the "boy mode" as well, no, don't need that trauma, either. Had one who was a cross dresser and when I asked him if he was bi sexual, he said not really but could be if I wanted him to. the ones who are bi curious concern me as much as the bisexuals. I worry that they will try that and become more enamoured of men than women, and I sure couldn't handle that. At least the ones I talked to were upfront about it, and they should be. It is not fair if they are not. You should have a choice.

I've known several bi men, but have never had a relationship with one. In theory, I don't think I'd mind the sharing aspect (it's not like I'd be competing in any way...you know, apples and oranges) but there'd have to be come serious trust and communication involved. If I didn't trust him to play safe every single time, I couldn't live with it.
In short, I'm not ethically opposed to the idea, but the obstacles might be too numerous to overcome!

I lived with a girl who was bi for a short time. I figured my chances of a threesome were pretty good. Never happened.

I lived with a girl who was bi for a short time.
I had a girlfriend who I suspected was bi and even got the offer for a triple but turned it down. I just had the relationship thing going on with my girlfriend and didn't really want anyone else in it. I was also a little concerned about the friends boyfriend. I don't think he was going to get the same offer because my girl couldn't stand him.
