Ethnic backgrounds.
Everyone has a tendency to lean one way or another.
What cultural background do you
find hot in the opposite sex?
For me, I'd have to say Scandinavian, and Baltic country
men. I think it must be a "Father Image thing". Since my
dad is a tall, nordic type. And I have this thing going on with
a romantic Swede, The Swedish culture is fantastic ladies! A very
egalitarian society, strong family ethics. Gotta love those Swedish massages! The Lithuanians tend to be very close family men,
steadfast in fidelity, respectful and very caring. Oh those
Northern European men, we American women love you!

None actually...I don`t discriminate against anyone because of their ethnic background..if I told you one then I`d be discriminating against all others and it would be unfair..I have no preference.I`m attracted to the person not their ethnic background.

I can understand where you may think it could be
discrimination...but it's really a love of everyone out there...
I often hear men say they have a "Thing" for
Asian women, Latin women, Russian women...
It's a big cornicopia world out there with lots to see.
I was fortunate to travel overseas a lot....and
there's so many other people out there to experience
and get to know. I didn't realize how relaxed
some cultures are outside the USA, so much less
stress than us Americans. And I enjoy every culture!
I'm just wondering what other's are attracted to and why...

I don't think your're getting our dumb posts.
We really don't care about ethnicities.
I was engaged to a nice Hindi girl from India.
I've dated Filipinas, Anglos, etc.
To many Americans, it just doesn't matter.
We love all ethnicities and most of us aren't prejudiced any more.
So, we joke about it.

Witty and a little sad.
I don't think you're a prejudiced against particular ethnicities, so I don't know why you're acting in this particular manner. Still, you're apparently bothered by something.
In this modern world, people date ethnicities other than their own.
I'm certainly not going to apologize for dating outside of my "race".
It's a new millenium and I'm glad that people are crossing racial lines in romance as well as other aspects of life.
It's certainly great that hatreds are finally falling away.

Namecalling? I thought that fell to the wayside when someone gets past their teen-years.
Sad and very immature, especially for a 43 year-old teacher.
Also, what on earth do my "world of hurts" have to do with dating outside of ethnicities?
I've read and re-read your basic post and I addressed it.
Then you get upset with my answering posts.
Then you start with the childish "Thundermouth".
I was actually startled at how you've responded.
I'm certainly not sure why you've become upset.
Anyway, I think I will move on.
I don't want to upset you any more.
Oh one last thing, your attempts to damage my thread in the "Kitchen" area is also a sad demonstration of your immaturity.
I only feel pity for you. I certainly hope that you can overcome the issues that are plaguing you.

I don't see how it is at all prejudice to have a preference. Afterall, if we didn't have preferences, wouldn't we all be with someone right now?
I would date or marry any race or ethnicity.
However, if I were to walk into a room full of good looking men, the ones that would make my pulse race fastest would be the beautiful black men.
That doesn't make me racist, just means there's a certain look I like best in men, a look that sets off my attraction meter faster.
