What's your most embarrassing first date story?

I wrote on my blog today about a blind date I had where I sat down at a table with the wrong guy. Was wondering if I'm the only one that does silly things on first meetings. or if others have good stories to share.
So...tell us your story and we promise not to laugh. Well, maybe....

 "annie", I sorry, just had to laugh...you cracked me up!
I have had a few embarassments, one at the top of my head when I met a man and he said I looked so much like his sister. We laughed about it though and had a nice first meet. The funny part was the waitress stood there and laughed with us.

When I was 16 or 17 my supposed best friend set me up with her boyfriends neighbor, so we could double date. She was taking me over there to meet him, when we pulled up he was out on the side walk.  He was so Scarey looking I yelled at her "Don't you dare stop, keep going!" 
I have now moved past that and realize its not whats on the outside that counts, I can't believe I was EVER that shallow.I ran into him about 10 years later. We didn't mention it but he did ask how she was. So, I am sure he remembered. I felt so bad.

Humn let's see, met a man for lunch wanted just something simple so I ordered a tuna fish sandwich, we left to go to a flea market place and suddenly started to vomit violently!!!!! Talk about embarassing......he still wanted me after I felt I embarassed him because we became engaged!! Even though I had vomit on my pants, purse and shoes!!!!!
But after my fiance passed away and my family and friends told me to go out and date I needed a life, my first encounter was a guy who came to pick me up on his motorcycle. Well I had wore these new leather clogs I bought and needless to say forgot to change my shoes!!!!!! We went for a drive it was great even though his daughter's helmet was to big it was shifting all over the place. He took a turn to sharp and without realizing it I put my foot down but then I put it where I thought the foot rest was......hummm I was wrong but remember now I couldn't see the helmet was to big for my head!! So we stopped at this park and while sitting there he said *Ut oh something is burning we maybe in trouble I smell rubber*....well we look around in the park thinking maybe somewhere there? Nope I got off and he looked at his bike and said *Oh my god there is something BLACK on my exhaust pipe!!!!!!!!!! I moved around and said OOPS I don't have a sole on my clog!!!!!! I started to laugh and said when you took that turn to sharp I let my foot down incase we were gonna spill! He got very pissy and said NOW LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID, HOW AM I GONNA GET THAT OFF!! I looked around for a stick and wobbling cause I had no sole on one of my clogs and said here let's scrap it....but then I began to laugh cause it was better to laugh then to be angry or pisst!!!!! He didn't think it was funny. But he took me to dinner but was quiet still fumming about his exhaust pipe. But I tried to tell him....it's not like I did it on purpose!!! I lost a good pair of shoes too but told him I would pay to get it cleaned. He said no.
A few days later he sent me an email. Told me to come to his pool party to bring lawn chair, bathing suits. Food would be provided and as for Entertainment it said ADULTS ONLY!!!!! I laughed cause on the address bar it was sent to me and 5 other woman!!!!!!!! I replied thanks but no thanks I don't do 5 some!!!!! He never wrote back again!!!!!!
There are more but this is all I shall tell right now

Haven't had one that was very embarassing, I just tend to fumble, get a bit clutzy or shy on the first date if I REALLY like the guy.

I didn't actually go on a date with this woman, but a friend of mine and his girlfriend brought her to the apartment for a fix-up. What the hell were they thinking? After 15 minutes of her recent gall bladder operation, she called a framed drawing (by me) on my wall "crude and vulgar". Like I said, we didn't date.

well it wasn't a 1st date, well almost maybe  ......but here goes........
An old high school boyfriend was in town and gave me a call at work one day. He said let's have dinner i'm in town on such and such and ask if I wanted to meet. I said sure what if I just swing by and pick you up and we can talk while were drive across town. Well I wrote down his hotel and room number and told him i'd run up when I got there to get him.
Got to the hotel, in the elevator I looked at the room number and up I went. Knocked on the door about 7:30 or so and this guy opens up the door after a few moments in his underwear and all excited (we'll say) and i'll be damn i'd never seen him before. I was speechless for a few moments then I said sorry I have the wrong room still in a daze and he said no darling I called the service and you will do just Great....
I was a nervous embarrassed wreck before I could walk away and head for the elevator...
Lesson learned....Always and I mean Always call from downstairs and say hey i'm here meet me at the elevator...

well Gracie i do now because that guy thought I was just the one he was paying for......
but then again, if i got real desperate i could always just dress up and go knocking on strange hotel doors I guess j/k
