Ok, I am wondering after some of the threads lately.
Shouldn't we let love take it's course? Instead of trying to force something to happen?
I think people try to over analize(sp) love.
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
I Corinthians 13:4-8
With this in mind, it should be a simple thing.

Amen to that Katt. And yes, notice how much it is sought and the frustration, loss of hope etc when there shouldn't be. Love by itself is perfect, but coming from us, corrupted people, it is not. It seems impossible and hardens life.

I'm glad to see someone say this. Lately there's been so many threads about cheaters (yes, I started one) that its nice to see this one headed in the RIGHT direction.

Love is a simple thing. Instead of worrying about all the other "stuff", just let it happen. Don't rush it.
Don't worry about your family liking them, or your friends.
If you love them, your family will fall in line behind you.

Katt,
Whew!!! You definitely did simplify it.
I have to admit, I get this idea in my head about how it SHOULD be, but when I fall, it all goes out the window.

After reading this fine verse from Corinthians,it immediatly brought to mind my love for my children.
With this in mind, it should be a simple thing.

I know Jankia. I am not sure either on how to really keep it simple.
Other than to enjoy life as it is, do the things you love to do.
This is what I was doing when I started talking to my now husband on line. I was happy and content to work, play with my grandson and listen to my sons play their guitars every weekend.
I didn't have the need to go out looking for love. My life was complete the way it was. Meeting my husband and falling head over heels in love with him, was a big bonus for me.
Now, I have everything I ever dreamed of.
Keeping it simple.

It's so easy to fall into the "paralysis of analysis", and just keep fretting until you suck all the life and joy out of two people liking, and loving one another.
For once in my life, I just shut up and enjoyed falling in love, and it's all worked out for the best. Besides, if a Katt follows you home, you're supposed to keep it, right?

Reminds me of an old Christmas show that I remember watching as a kid on the tube.Someone asked a little African-American boy what did he want for Christmas.
His reply?
"I want me this cat I found"
For some reason I'll always remember that simple line.
Becasue it was soooo simple.

Excellent, excellent post!

I think sometimes what we do is only human do to past or previous relationships that we analysis and disect it to a point that we don't do what we say or feel. We know what we want but we don't REACH OUT and just touch it let it happen. Let it just be Natural!!!!! Ok yes we know we have to guard ourselves but when it feels right with our instincts we should take it one day at a time and let the chips fall . And when they fall ..............OOOOOOOOOOOOOO LAAAAAAAAAA LAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I agree wholeheartedly. You take the bad with the good, and the good with the bad.
Because you love.

Ready For Love
Take my hand and lead the way;
tell me all you want to say.
Whisper softly in my ear,
all those things I want to hear.
Kiss my lips and touch my skin;
bring out passions deep within.
Pull me close and hold me near;
take away my pain and fear.
In the darkness of the night,
be my beacon, shine your light.
In the brightness of the sun,
show me that you are the one.
Give me wings so I can fly;
for I can soar when you're nearby.
Enter my heart, break down the wall,
it's time for me to watch it fall.
I've been a prisoner, can't you see?
Break my chains and set me free.
Strip me of my armor tight;
you'll find I won't put up a fight.
Release my soul held deep within . . .
I'm ready now, let love begin.
Just something I wanted to share

Thanks TInk Some wear an armour so tightly we don't realize it at times.
As Loreli had said which I always say, take the good the bad and the ugly cause god only knows how those curve balls tend to get thrown. Its how you handle it TOGETHER!
