That's closer to "chemistry" than I've been for awhile.

I don't think you can have chemistry with a person before you actually meet them.

Tezra, you are going to make me be serious. Yes, you can - rarely. And then there is always the likelihood that the chemistry won't be there when you meet.

I always thought you could tell if there was chemistry between two people when you looked into their eyes. How can one establish if there is chemistry if you don`t meet face too face..
You may think theres chemistry but thats just your hormones kickin` into high gear.. Imagination is nice but when it comes to Chemistry..Reality is better.

"Yes, you can" NO I can't. Speak for yourself, not me. I agree with Tink.

I agree with Tezra and Tink. Would never take any guy too seriously before I had actually met them. I know exactly what Tink means when she mentions looking them in the eye. If that "spark" isn't there, it isn't there. How would you know from simple text with no inflection? Especially with all the liars and fakes.

Lol, you may think you do online, but when you meet in person, that is the test.Generally, when you meet them in person, there is nothing there. At least, this has been my experience. We tend to romanticize a person before we meet them, usually, they fall way short of our expectations, fantasies and dreams.

I've felt chemistry before for some guys online a couple times. But it never lasts 'cause it's lust.

flattery and a nice picture might get my attention but what it takes to hold it afterwards is the difference and that takes one on one up close and personal interaction ......

I tease but yet I have felt chemistry from typing to people but the proof is in the "puddin".
I hate when you have a chemistry connection online and you meet and its like "who are you", "I have no connection with you offline".
SIGH
Back to the drawing boards.

I say that there is just no way. I think some people are anxious for a connection that they will makes something out of nothing. I can talk to anyone on the phone and have some great talk's. It's just they way I am. I could say they was chemistry 90% of the time. That would make me a dreamer as that is theimpression I got. There can be no type of chemistry until you meet in person. It is just so easy to make yourself believe there is, as you want it to be there so badly. That is how I see it.

Sure there can be chemistry online as long as both parties are being truthful and forth right.

What he said.
Problem is that in all honesty it doesn't always translate to real-time.
And that seems rather sad, doesn't it?

It sure does. But that brings up another point. I have seen people who get online and talk up a storm for weeks, months, and sometimes years and will never go to meet the person. I think thats just silly.

I still don`t see how there can be chemistry where you don`t meet face to face..or is there some kind of magic that sends your feelings through the computer.
oh well thats just my opinion.........
